2 Beninese Siblings Sentenced To Death In Ogun State Nigeria For Robbing A Ghanaian At Gunpoint

Two brothers from Benin Republic who robbed a Ghanaian citizen in Asaidu village Ogun state back in June 2012 have been finally sentenced to death.

The siblings identified as 45-year-old John Kuku and 33-year-old Fabu Kuku were today sentenced to death for the long standing robbery case.

In a court sitting in Abeokuta, the capital city of Ogun state today, Justice Olatokunbo Majekodunmi said the convicts who live at Opic Estate in Agbara area of Lagos were found guilty of of conspiracy and armed robbery. He thereafter sentenced death to death by hanging.

The convicts reportedly stormed their victim’s house around 12:00am and stole N1million he kept at home.

The victim was a treasurer of a local contribution group, it was learnt that his younger brother Sunday facilitated the robbery.
