Abass Akande Obesere hails from Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria.
He was brought up in Lagos State Nigeria where he attended St Paul Primary School in Ebute Metta, Lagos. He later moved on to complete his Secondary school education at Jubril Martins Secondary School in Ebute Metta.
The talented Fuji star got into limelight through his radical Fuji style.
He started his music career with Sony music in 1981 and later moved on
to Bayowa Records.
He used to be a boxer, a printer and an electronic business owner.
