Dec 3rd, 2013 – Boko Haram Has More Weapons Than The Nigerian Soldiers/Joint Task Force

Hours after a brutal attack on the Air Force base in Maiduguri,  a source has revealed that the attack was successful due to negligence on security measures advised following Boko Haram renewed insurgency is one of the reasons that largely made Monday’s attack possible by the sect.

The Nigerian military despite its denial are fighting the Boko Haram sect with obsolete weapons that are less inferior to that of the sect’s sophistication, and also poorly remuneration for the troops on the war front.

A military source confirmed that for over month, both the Federal Government and the higher military command have been advised on the need to station detachment of counter-terrorist troops around Sahara Desert with sole aim of crushing Boko Haram Islamic sect in view of the sect penetration in Nigeria through several borders with Niger Republic, Cameroon and Chad.

Yobe state, which is second stronghold of the sect, also had international borders with Zinder and Diffa regions of Niger Republic.

The formation of a military base, according to the source remained most viable option in containing the increasingly strength of the sect, who are getting training, support and other logistic support in the un-policed deserts that stretch from Algeria and Mauritania up to Niger and Chad.

The source who spoke on condition of anonymity, said, “It has become imperative for us to submit our candid position as military with sole responsibility of preserving Nigeria’s sovereignty. The terrorists find their way into Borno and Yobe via our porous borders. And their main planning and training is in the desert, afterwards they sneak into their camps inside Nigeria and so instead of waiting, we are proposing that we have full military base in the desert that would comprise both land and air operations.

“This is our submission to the government; it is dangerous waiting for them. They are becoming more sophisticated and organize by the day, and so we must move forward. Their trainees and those providing them with logistics are right inside the desert between Niger Republic and Chad.”, the source said.

Sometimes, the military- the entire force should make their recommendations, comments and strategies coded ones or perhaps in the secret because, the more you make known your plans on air, the more the betrayers among you, the informants, and even your targets- the islamists- the more they strategize in readiness for your plans. Were you ever aware that the BH group was goning to attack by 3am yesterday? After you must have succeeded in cleaning off the mess of the sect, then you can come out to tell us the secret of your success. That is my advice although more sophisticated weapons can only stand against the BH’s but with only God with Nigeria.

when do we do away with sentiments and attend to issues as the affect us? i think its time our government confront this issues of Boko haram and find a lasting solution to it. Else, in the end, we all will be in for it. last year, 1 division kawo and also Armed Forces Command and Staff Jaji was attacked. nothing was done by the government to avert further occurrence. now its NAF base, this is among numerous Police formations attacked.
the best the government did was to redeploy the commandants of those places.
Remember, even postings to these troubled zones are politicized. hence, it doesnt get to affect those in power.
A word is enough for the wise.

We’re at war! How can 80,000 soldiers(Nigeria army) successfully defend a land area of 356,667sq mi ( entire Nigeria). The terrorists started in Borno state, now they are everywhere in the north eastern states with ruthless boldness to destabilize the country. This is what our past and current leaders should be relentlessly discussing not looting the country. When we talk about the infirmities of Badluck Joe(The President) people with congenital naïveté quickly jump to defend him. Israel is the only country that can “sincerely” help Nigeria on this matter, the rest, they want Nigeria in the oblivion. Most of our weaponry belong in the museum not battle field it is very shameful that Nigeria is one heck of a fool.

Calling nigeria president badluck joe, ad u are expect to get something good from badluck joe? Nigerians should change their attitude toward GEJ, pray wit GEJ for wisdom to pilot dis country to its promised land, if God has chosen GEJ, Danti u have no choice just pray.

Yo Udeme, you are a numbskull. Only God knows how extremely foolish person like you sleeps at night. What is wrong with my assessment? For your information, my siblings are not monkeys they know how to behave. You are one of the low life( nigga) that glorifies mediocrity, only an intellectually defective bastard like you will think everything is okay with Nigeria.
