Bisi Oladimeji, a 33-year-old Osogbo-based bus  driver has returned a forgotten N49,000 cash and another N380,000 cheque to his customer in the capital city of Osun state.

According to News Agency of Nigeria, the owner of the cheque and cash is one Olubunmi Adeleke, a teacher at a Catholic school in Osogbo.

Olubunmi boarded a bus from Fakunle area of Osogbo to Aregbe but unfortunately for her, she forgot her purse that contained the aforementioned sum.

The owner of the cheque lives at Agunbelewo area of Osogbo while the cheque was written in her favour from her co-operative society.

The bus driver said -“When I saw the purse in my bus, I checked inside and found the identity card showing where the passenger works,” he said.

On how he located the owner, Oladimeji said he traced the school in  Isale Aro area of Osogbo, from where he was directed to Mrs. Adeleke’s  house.

What a good man he is!

This woman would have been in trouble by now if not for the bus driver’ honesty.
