The owner of Ogo Oluwa Kitan Records, Chief Joseph Olayiwola Afolabi is dead.

The former promoter of top music stars like King Sunny Ade, Late Sikiru Ayinde and many others died yesterday night at the age of 80.

According to family sources, he died after a prolonged battle with age-related illness. As at the time of his death, none of his family members could ascertain the real cause of his death but age was cited as a factor.

May his soul rest in perfect peace!
