LSPC today confirmed the killing of three officers and two chiefs by some suspected militants at Oko Asagun village in Ibeju Lekki area of Lagos.
The gunmen who stormed the place from Ode Omi creek (Ogun Lagos border town) reportedly opened fire on two police men attached to an estate under development before opening fire on the civilians in the area.
The suspected militants didn’t go empty handed, they reportedly kidnapped two staff of Erickson and two staff of Tydacom before escaping into the creek.
Here is what a witness who identified himself as Jude Ajagun said about the tragic incident:
Last week, four policemen and an army captain were shot dead by militants in Ishawo area of Ikorodu.
It is obvious the militants have adopted a “shoot on sight” approach to the officials of Lagos Police Command .
