\April 15, 2013 – Nigerian Emerges Youngest Commercial Pilot In South Africa (20-year-old Favour Odozor)

A 20-year-old Nigerian guy identified as Favour Odozor has made history as the youngest Commercial Pilot in both Naija and South Africa.

Odozor graduated along sides fifteen other pilots at Afrika Union Aviation Academy, AUAA IN Mafikeng, South Africa on Saturday the 13th of April, 2013.

The director of the Aviation training academy, Captain Allan Roebuck told News agency of Nigeria that the trailblazer completed all the 37-flying procedures in a short time.

The academy is proud of this young Nigerian, with the award of licence and certificate to him. Today, I can say he is the youngest commercial licence pilot in both Nigeria and South Africa.

Mr. Odozor has equalled the record set by Ed Gardner, a Briton, who obtained  his commercial pilot licence at the age of 20 in 2008.

Francis Odozor graduated from Uchenna Secondary School in Owerri, Imo State in 2009 before proceeding to Afrika Union Aviation Academy.

What an achievement!
