Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano state yesterday appointed a Malaysian Professor Dato Dr. Mohd. Razali Bin Agus as the Vice Chancellor of the newly established North-West University in Kano State. www.naijagists.com
Before his appointment, the 57-year old Malaysian professor worked as a VC in a community college in Kuala, Lumpur, Malaysia.
His appointment has sparked outrage among Nigerian scholars who believed this move is an insult to qualified people in Kano state and Nigeria as a whole.
