Beyonce’s hubby, Jay Z has been dethroned a year after he became the wealthiest hip hop artist in the world with the net worth of $810 million.

In Forbe’s new list of wealthiest hip hop artists released yesterday, Sean Diddy Combs retained the number one spot with an estimated net Worth of $820 million as Jay Z dropped to the second place.

Jay Z reportedly lost his rank due to his $200 million investment in his Tidal music streaming service from Sprint in January of this year.

Tidal is now worth more than 10 times the initial investment.

Other rappers listed on the wealthiest hip hop artists list include Dr Dre with $740M net worth, Cash Money Records co-owner Bryan “Birdman” Williams ($110M net worth) and Drake with $90M.
