Divorce Scandal: Pastor Chris Removes Anita’s Name & Pictures From Rhapsody Of Realities
Sept 30, 2014 – Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Removes Rev Anita’s Name From Rhapsody Of Realities As Divorce Is Finalized
Few weeks after removing her pictures from the official website of Christ Embassy Church, the founder of Believers Love World Ministry, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has ordered the immediate removal of his estranged wife, Rev. Anita from the church’s monthly publication.
Starting from October, Anita’s name and photos will not be included in the Rhapsody of Realities devotional.
Anita was reportedly sidelined from her key role and the role taken over by a prominent female member of the church, Yemisi Kudehinbu, who recently succeeded Pastor Phillip as the Chief Executive Officer of the Believers Love World Incorporated, an umbrella body in charge of Rhapsody.
According to reports, Anita’s pictures, which used to adorn the front and back pages of Rhapsody with her husband, were edited from the latest publication. The current edition has only the name of Pastor Chris, while the back page was filled with only testimonies.
The latest development has worsened the divorce mess between the church’s leader and his wife, Anita, who reportedly filed for dissolution of their marriage on the grounds of “unreasonable behaviour” and “adultery” on 9 April, 2014, according to an online newspaper, The Cable.
Before now, Anita has challenged her now ex-hubby, Pastor Chris for using her pictures on the monthly devotional and demanded a royalty fee paid to her while she allegedly boycotts many of the devotional bearing her profile and pictures in London.
The action prompted the immediate removal of her profile from the upcoming publication.
The marital union between the once coveted couple is now over.
