Boko Haram Cow Sellers & Spy Arrested At Cattle Market In Maiduguri Borno State, 193 Cows Seized
Operation Lafiya Dole troops have arrested 3 suspected Boko Haram terrorists selling cows at Cattle Market in Maiduguri Borno state.
The suspects identified as Alahui Nwariye, Abba Fanni, Dallagio Go Abba reportedly told investigators that they entered the cow market through Mafa area of Maiduguri with 200 stolen cows for sale at cheaper rate.
They sold 177 out of the 200 cows and were left with 23.
Other cow sellers who noticed their suspicious activities informed Civilian JTF who in turn alerted the troops of operation Lafiya Dole.
The suspects said they sell stolen cows at different cattle markets in the state to raise money to fund their nefarious activities.
Another suspected agent and spy at the market, Alhaji Ajid Umar was also arrested after the 3 suspects exposed him. 173 cows were seized from him.
All the 4 suspects are currently undergoing preliminary investigation
