Meet Madam Emma Morano, an Italian woman believed to be the oldest living person in the world and the last woman to be born in the 1800s.
She marked her 117th birthday yesterday at her family home in Verbania town Italy.
Morano was born on the 29th of November 1899.
The secret of her longevity is raw eggs. Her doctor said she eats 2 raw eggs religiously everyday.
She doesn’t eat much fruit and vegetables but she is fond of eating the same thing every day, every week, every month and every year.
The History maker outlived all her 8 brothers and sisters.
When her fiance died in World War I, she was forced to marry a man she didn’t love at the age of 26 but in 1968, she separated from him and since then she had lived all her life alone in a small apartment in the Northern Italian town of Verbania where she celebrated her 117th birthday yesterday.
