A total of 182 small scale traders from Anambra North Senatorial Zone had cause to smile when the Senator representing Anambra North Senatorial District,Princess Stella Oduah put smiles on their faces with empowerment financial package of the sum of 10 million Naira to support and grow their businesses.

The programme fashioned under the platform of MaxLife Foundation,an offshoot of a charity initiative started by the late 27 year old son of the Senator,Maxwell,has affected so many lives positively across Anambra state and beyond.

The chairman of MaxLife Foundation ,Rev Fr Donal Uzoh,said during the week at the Sacred Heart Parish,Onitsha where the empowerment was being held, that the empowerment programme was not about politics but about the love Senator Oduah has for giving to the poor and less privileged.

The Rev Fr enumerated some of the good works Senator Stella Oduah has recently done to include erection of boreholes at 12 various locations in Anambra North and provision of solar lights to encourage night life and improve security in some villages.

Rev Fr Donald also disclosed that the Senator through the Max-Life Foundation recently offered scholarships to 50 indigent students in different schools as well as assisting 68 students of the Grungtvig Institute Onitsha,to acquire various skills to prepare them for challenges of life.

Various resource persons were invited to lecture the traders on different aspects of business and investment.

Some of the speakers include radio Sapientia broadcaster,the Huge Man,Mr Ifeanyi Orakwue,Mr Freshman Osinachi Nwanze also of the Radio Sapientia,motivational speaker mr Tony Okoroafor among others.
