Sudanese Woman Meriam Ibrahim’s Brother Threatens To Kill Her
June 26, 2014 – Sudanese Woman Meriam Ibrahim’s Brother Threatens To Kill Her For Converting To Christianity After Marriage
Pictured above is Al Samani al Hadi, the elder brother to Meriam Ibrahim, the Sudanese woman sentenced for apostasy and later released by an appeal court.
The same day she regained her freedom, the above man who claimed to be her brother went to the prison to check on her as his usual custom but unfortunately for him, he didn’t meet her there.
The moment he discovered she has been freed, he ran crazy and threatened to kill her.
In a recent interview with CNN, hear what Al Hadi said;
The family is unconvinced by the court’s decision. We were not informed by the court
that she was to be released; this came as a surprise to us. The law has failed to uphold our rights. This is now an issue of honour. The Christians have tarnished our honour, and we will know how to avenge it.’
He took the case to another media house in Sudan, where he said Meriam has been kidnapped from her family who she should have been returned to, not her husband.
Al Hadi was the same man who encouraged authorities to hang his sister if she refuses to renounce Christianity.
As we speak, Meriam is set to travel to South Sudan where she is scheduled to travel to the United States with her husband and two kids.
Her supporters in America and all over the world said the couple must exercise caution because of Meriam’s family desperation to kill her at all cost.
What a life! a brother encouraging others to kill his blood sister. This man should be taken to a psychiatric ward for mental evaluation.
May God deliver you Meriam and your family from these extremists.
