August 9, 2014 – Uganda Holds First Gay Pride After Anti-Gay Law Overturned [PHOTOS]
Over the past 3 months, the government of Uganda has been under heavy criticism from developed countries after the recently passed anti-gay law banning all homosexuals in the country.
The latest move that put the country on hold was the aid money that was cut off by the US and UK. This move forced the country to overturn the rule.
Today in the lakeside town of Entebbe, several Ugandan homosexuals and their supporters put together the country’s first peaceful gay pride.
Here are some photos from the event:
Nigeria was in the same shoes with Uganda but the anti-gay law was never overturned in Nigeria as the country stood her ground against resistance from USA, Britain and the like.
