A footballer from Cameroon has passed on following a missile attack at the end of an Algerian league game on Saturday.
24-year-old Albert Ebosse died after being struck by a missile thrown by fans in the stands as he and his teammates returned to their changing room.
The projectile was launched after JS Kabylie team lost to USM Alger in Tizi Ouzou 2-1.
The lone score in the match was scored by the deceased.
Ebosse was rushed to the hospital following the attack but he died few minutes later.
The deceased who joined JS Kabylie in July of last year was the highest goal scorer in the 2013-2014 championship.
He recently welcomed a baby girl.
