August 18, 2016 – Opinion: Why I Believe Jonathan & Wife Sponsored The Niger Delta Avengers Militants Destabilise Buhari’s Government – Omokehinde
There are many elements of truth and facts in the article earlier posted on this forum and the allegations against former President Jonathan, his barbaric wife, some disappointed politicians in the region and those Niger Delta Avengers.
Why?
First, president Jonathan has unprecedented ties and very personal relationships with those core Militants from the Niger Delta region like Alhaji Dokunbo Asari, Mr. Abiri-The criminal general, John Togo, and many more whose names I can’t recall right now.
He also awarded billions of naira worth of pipelines security contracts to armed militants in the region thereby, making them financially powerful to initiate further attacks on Nigerian oil pumps and other costly oil infrastructures in the region. Why would any right minded president give billions of naira worth of contracts to illegal armed militants instead of empowering our offshore policemen, navy, and other security agencies with modern equipment and supplies?
Furthermore, Jonathan enjoys and completely ignores many threats to destabilize Nigeria if he loses reelection from Dokunbo Asari and other militants from the Niger Delta region as an incumbent running for reelection.
Dokunbo Asari issued uncountable threats to cause war and destabilize Nigerian peace far more than what Mr. Kanu Nnamdi issued that landed him in prison. Infact, Kanu did not issues 20% of what Alhaji Dokunbo and other militants issued but he was allowed to travel around the globe loaded with looted funds in term of oil contracts.
There was a time criminal Dokunbo Asari was arrested and sent to prison in Benin Republic, president Jonathon quickly intervened for his release from prison.
The next day, Dokunbo Asari was flown back to Abuja, Nigeria in presidential plane. That was so shameful and disgraceful all for reelection threats against the Nigerian people living outside the region.
I’m 100% sure that criminal Jonathan created the Niger Delta Avengers terrorist group to destabilize President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration and cause Nigerian people economy and her people pain due to reduction of oil revenue.
If there is an overwhelming evidence that Jonathan and his barbaric wife are part and parcel of the Niger Delta Avengers operations and the collateral damages that they have caused, President Buhari should order immediate arrest of that bastard and those behind the creation and financial support of this destructive group.
For a poor man who come from the minority of minority in Nigeria to be given opportunity by God Almighty and Nigerian people to serve as president for six good years, president Jonathan will be the most ungrateful and wicked vagabond in the world if he knows anything about this terrorist group attacking Nigerian infrastructures and causing drastic reduction in revenue.
If there is any concrete and good evidence that link criminal Jonathan with the Niger Delta Avengers, he should be arrested and detain with immediate effect, at that point, he has lost his privilege, statesmanship right and immunity as a former President for sponsoring Terrorists against the state and the Nigerian people.
There is God ooo.

@omokehinde this not your first on this forum your comments (talkless of a full writeup) tells more about you will can easily deduce that you are an APC member and you are always in support of them no matter what am beginning to see you as being *******..your *****an important element of ***** which is OBJECTIVITY.. like i said on the earlier post it ******** blaming thing and look forward for a solution

I think that is as well my observation here.@omokehinde look exactly like pro APC member to me and I think this contradicted earlier statement he made that he belongs to no political party . Rather than assembling some ill-conceived report trying to mislead people,it will be wise to wait and let the evidence and truth be manifested through legal proceedings. This case the formal president has been alleged with,of sponsoring niger delta avengers is politically motivated. There are serious agitation and bitter disagreement going on within the camp of the niger delta militants. “THE MOVEMENT FOR EMANCIPATION OF NIGER DELRTA” or “MEND” have made several attempt of assassinating Jonathan not just now but since 2007 after he emerged as the running mate of the late Umar Musa Yar’Adua. His compound in otuoke bayelsa state was latter bombed by this violent and murderous underground group led by Henry Okah who is still currently serving jail term in south Africa. Another attempt of assassinating the formal president was made by “MEND”on october 1st 2010 at eagle square,abuja which they didn’t succeed. This two records about the deadly group attempt on Jonathan’s life shows very clear they are no friends but bitter enemy.
Furthermore,discovering a fertile ground so to speak under the new administration, this same notorious group refer to as MEND now came up again and aligned themselves with the break away faction of NDA to accuse the former president of supporting and financing the avengers. But the question is, should we expect any element of truth from MEND toward Jonathan accusing him of backing NDA? I 100 percent doubt it Considering the fact that both have been enemy over the years. So this administration present “MEND” with the opportunity to rope jonathan this time with heavy case. Meanwhile,the main NIGER DELTA AVENGERS are still in serious opposition with the current government and have even decided to declare there independent in the coming month of OCTOBER 1st 2016 with there currency,there national flag and what have you. If you follow up and look intently into the activity of the militants,you will come to see that niger delta militant issue is as complex as one can think.
So let’s wait for the investigators to complete there assignment of probing him and see what they will come out with before reaching or drawing any conclusion. All this propagandas are just another strategies by present government to divert and deflect the attention of nigerians from their level of incompetence in moving the nation forward. So far for now, I think the formal president should not be disparaged upon by anyone or through some concocted publications and writings from any pro APC members serving as a propaganda machine for the party. For now no conclusion should be made till the investigation is completed.

Omokehinde I was very disappointed by your article, as intelligent as you may think of yourself can openly said that former president is sponsoring a rebel group, I have been reading all you comments , I find out that you are a *******, I am not a politician nor supporter of any, if I may be in future, I don’t think that It will be in Nigeria, a country where tribalism is killing and separating the nation, a country where the life of a cow is more precious than human, a country where their leaders fail to tell the herdsmen the different between human and cow, my good friend I have been watching all your comment, you have never condemn the constant killings by your herdsmen.

Omokehinde, I will still reserve my respect for your intellectuality, I have always liked how you react to issues, and how you rescind to superior argument in hot topics like this. You are rather too fast to have risen in condemnation of GEJ. This case is proverbial. A witch cried in the night and a child died in the morning. During GEJ administration GMB said he will make Nigeria ungovernable and every body pointed he was the sponsor of BOKO HARAM. Now the reverse is the case. I believe this heat will die down and Nigeria will be better for it.

This is countdown to Buhari’s two years in office and is rather unfortunate that some people chose to doggedly follow a failed leader who lacks foresight on how to improve the standard of living of the masses. The only ‘achievements’ this failed government has achieved are ‘witch hunting, retrieving of some loots that are not used to alleviate the plight of the masses, martyrdom of PDP members and adequate monitoring of those in charge of public fund’. This is pathetic and obnoxious. What solutions have been proferred to reduce the plight of the masses and to curb crime? We are tired of theories and sentiments. If after one year in office Buhari is still bent on the game of witch hunting rather than facing the pragmatic aspect of governance that bringgs succour, then permit me to say, he has no business being the president and then, he is a bundle of disappointment anyway. Anyway, we are all entitled to our different opinions.

I really appreciate all your comments (either for or against it) regarding the above article. But is there any point raised in the above article that is false or lie? The answer is capital “No”. It will amount to serious crime and unpatriotic behavior for anyone most especially former President, governors, ministers, senators or elected politicians to be a co-sponsor of any act of terrorism against our nation and Nigerian people. Predident Jonathan connection with the Niger Delta known armed militants as a sitting president was suspicious, unprecedented, and unusual. Any man with billions of naira looted from the national treasure can do and undo, and manipulate people in that region of a nation where man-made poverty reign supreme. If he or anyone close to him had prior knowledge of the Niger Delta Avengers terrorist activities, he or whosoever should be arrested, jailed, and charge to court for sponsoring terrorism against Nigeria government and her people. I’m just a concern Nigerian citizen with no tie to any political party in a corrupt nation like ours. Good governance, justice, economic justice, security, and accountability that benefit all Nigerians and not few are very crucial to me in any government of the day. Shekenah!

Until final investigation is done and the truth is established that Jonathan indeed connived with the Niger Delta thugs to bomb our pipe line and oil facilities, I won’t apportion blame to him but on the other hand folks, this is Nigeria and anything can happen. Don’t be surprised if the allegation eventually come to be true. Before you crucify this guy ” Omokehinde” let’s keep our fingers cross.
Fellow forumites, Omokehinde is just making his opinion known to the public just like everybody entitle to his/her opinion. This is not a matter of being an APC or PDP member but being objective just like I do. I’m not a member of any party but let us discuss this issue they way we perceive it. When people were saying please let leave GEJ alone, do you mean we should leave him alone if the allegation is eventually true?
Another mistake that some of my fellow commenters are making is, Let Buhari get to work and quickly put things in shape and forget about probing the looters. In actual sense, you are saying it is ok for some people to wreck our economy while some genius are there to fix that problem. Common!!! how do you think this guy can perform a magic after serious irreparable damage they have caused our economy. We need to support Buhari with prayer and better advise in order to jumpstart our economy back.
Saudi Arabia is drilling more of their daily required barrels of oil to make up for the shortage of revenue affected by sudden fall in oil price. This is a Country that have escrow reserve. Imagine if a Country like Saudi Arabia can increase its oil production what do you think is happening? How do we make money when the barrel of oil dropped from $150/barrel to $20. We need to come together and help this man navigate the ship of this Country. If we split now is not going to make any difference. Infact the situation may be worst.
Let us forget about this idea of born to rule and stop harassing Mr. Predident. If you are going to condemn someone, make sure that you are better and can perform better than that individual three times otherwise it is baseless criticizing that person based on tribal or religion reason.

Short letter for the *******always show themselves no matter what. if *****ven if the past president is the grand host of the group who are destroying your country does that stop your president from working and stop counting stars and chasing shadows just to steal and act like a saint. I see the president as Judas who sold JESUS with a kiss. People should always face the truth and stop been negative when OBJ was in government he had the Militants and he still did his job as a president even why he OBJ brought EFCC to light he was working and searching for loots not just all eyes on loots like a mad who hasn’t seen the nakedness of a woman and was dis-virgin by a stripper. I will advice Nigerians to ask the president to work and stop looking for past fraud personals cos he would not be listed as a saint after office and he should be asked why he has not questioned EDO state GOV ADAMS is he sacred that he ADAMS is the one from the garden of Edem???? Well the fact is every Government has a challenge and should always face it and still keep its economic growing not to sit like a vegetable and look for past powers to chased after. Well IF MEN WHERE GOD. If GEJ is the sponsor to the terror group his fire shall one day burn him and his house hold so lets leave judgement for god and the appropriate authorities and I plead with my President to Work as that’s the BASIC of his office he shouldn’t be the president and also the FBI or CIA to EFCC. all agencies has spy so he shouldn’t be the informant.
