A newborn baby boy who appeared to have been abandoned by her mother in a lonely bush path in Ikorodu, Lagos State Nigeria has been rescued. www.naijagists.com
According to a report from Vanguardngr, the baby who appeared to have been dumped in the bush by unknown person suspected to be his mother or father was nicely wrapped in a baby wrapping cloth close to a popular Lucky Fibre bus stop in Ikorodu area of Lagos state.
According to witnesses, the cry of the baby woke them up around 7am on the fateful day of his discovery.
People quickly rushed to the location and discovered the baby crying tirelessly.
There was no written note or inscription left by the run-away mother. According to an eye witness, the good Samaritans were afraid to carry the innocent crying baby but on the orders of the chairman of the Community Development Authority, CDA, the innocent baby was immediately taken to the nearest police station.
The baby boy has been transported to Shagamu road Police station in Ikorodu where he was then taken to an undisclosed orphanage.
