Names Of 5 Nigerians Arrested For Robbery In Sharjah UAE Released By FG

5 nigerians arrested robbery sharjah dubai

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Diaspora, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, while addressing State House correspondent today described as disgraceful the arrest of five Nigerians, for allegedly robbing a bureau de change in Sharjah of Dh2.3 million.

The men were caught on camera barging into the exchange and smashed the glass barrier between the customers and the staff, stole the money in multiple currencies and fled.

Dabiri-Erewa said the men were a disgrace and an embarrassment to the country, themselves and their families.

She listed their names as Chimuanya Emmanuel Ozo, Benjamin Nwachukwu Ajah, Kingsley Ikenna Nwonka, Toochukwu Leonard Arise and Chile Micah Ndumodu.

“These five boys are a disgrace to this country and an embarrassment. So if UAE decide to be hard on Nigerians then we will complain that they are hard on us.“

But we will continue to say that one bad apple should not spoil the whole bunch. Nigerians are hardworking, intelligent so these few should not spoil the whole bunch because this has made news all over the UAE now.“

We are going to continue to name those who disgrace the country anywhere in the world and we will continue to appeal to Nigerians to be good ambassadors wherever they find themselves,” she added

They were not released, only their names. This is what happens when you want to suddenly hammer in a foreign land, especially an Arab one, you put the honest ones in a lot of trouble. You want to go back to your villages and start flaunting money. You have messed with Arabs, just start saying bye bye to your heads

This is what hard work means to a group in Nigeria. Some inherently obtuse among them, will yell industrious! Majority of armed robbers in Nigeria are from this devil- blessed region, haba! We know and dreaded your skills in varieties of evil shit, but common don’t internationalized it.

Exporting skills for hard currency??? Some people’s warped understanding sha! They must have been high on something to think there were no cameras and other security measures to detect the crime.May God help our beloved country.

They should be punished severely. They are not released yet only the names are released. Nigeria govt. should set up harder punishment for such offenders. What another shithole thing!

Let them pay the penalty. The federal government should not come to their rescue. They know the consequence of their actions in that land and still went ahead. Let them pay the price.

I believe these are men from the East, who wanted to run short cut in attaining financial stability.
Let the matter reopen, and serve them according to the law of the land.

    No short cut in greatness!

While everybody should applaud Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa for releasing the names of the 5 robbers in UAE and rightly pointed out they are a disgrace to Nigeria and an embarrassment to the country. Releasing their names should deter others from a life of crime Abroad.
Unfortunately, Mrs. Dabiri never released the name of the Nigerian woman beheaded in Saudi Arabia for drug trafficking. In the same vein she failed to inform Nigerians the names of those already executed for drugs and those on death row for same crime-drugs. The names which she failed to release are:

THOSE EXECUTED FOR DRUGS IN SAUDI ARABIA:
    (1) Yusuf Yekini Ajiboye
    (2) Adebayo Adeniyi
    (3) Mohammed Abubakar
    (4) Mohammed Issa
    (5) Ibrahim Ciroma
    (5) Biola Ologunro

THOSE ON DEATH ROW FOR DRUGS IN SAUDI ARABIA
    (1) Idris Adepoju
    (2) Abdulrimi Ajibola
    (3) Jimoh Lawal
    (4) Tunde Ibrahim
    (5) Amode Suleman
    (6) Hafis Amosun
    (7) Aliu Mohammed
    (8) Babatunde
    (9) Abdulrasaq Lawal
    (10) Yekini
    (11) Abubakar
    (12) Kawu Muhammed
    (13) Madinah Yahaya
    (14) Awalu Muhammed
    (15) Kafilat Olajide
    (16) Ayisa
    (17) Abdulraman Durojaye
    (18) Abubakar Usman
    (19) Sunny
    (20) Emeka
    (21) Issa. This is copied from a publication.

Now @ Danti before you start casting a blanket on all South Easterners for the sins of some idiotic ones, you stop and think. No one is in support of criminals in any form. I am a strong advocate of naming these criminals to shame them and their families as deterrent to others but where the authorities are selective in naming the criminals, that I don’t subscribe to. Criminality should be condemned in its entirety irrespective of who commits it. Whatever is the penalty for robbery in UAE these 5 guys deserve.
I think this site is for contributors to put heads together to at least suggest solutions to some of our problems (if the powers that be in Nigeria) will listen but some folks are using it to vent their anger/frustration on others based on ethnic affiliation and sometimes, religion. This is wrong.
