Nigerian billionaire Alhaji Aliko Dangote has lost an important figure in his business empire.
One of his MDs, Mr Akin Adesokan reportedly lost his battle to cancer at the age of 61 on Monday the 12th of September 2016.
His death was announced by family members yesterday.
In his lifetime, the deceased was the managing Director of Dangote Group of companies.
May his soul rest in peace (amen).

Akin was a very good man, with a very good heart, I first met him over thirty years ago, he was the same ebulent person I met back then, and when I last saw him, bubbly all the time, despite his very high IQ.
I am not sure of why some comments on this forum trivialized his passing, you should have known the man called Akin Adesokan, I remember clearly the first day we met in Ifako Gbagada, he was then living across the road from me, but he made sure that we became friends, all he cared about is the human spirit.
Sun re O! Akin my namesake, my good buddy, you are a very erudite man, gifted from heaven, and a sagacious fellow from a very good pedigree, adieu my friend.
