My issue about Nigeria is, why can’t we come with our own health care system so that everybody will not be traveling abroad for medical treatment. When are we going to start thinking straight? So, anyone who doesn’t have any means to travel Abroad should just resign his/her fate to end his life on the sick bed. There is possibility that the Doctor who will be treating Baba Suwe may be a Nigerian Doctor based in the United States OR may be chief medical Doctor who is the direct boss to the one treating Baba Suwe. I know what I’m saying because I’ve met with some Nigerian Doctors during my Doctor’s visit.

Nigeria as a whole had produced more good Doctors in the US who can turn around our health care positively if Nigeria government can financially support them but our leaders only prefer to keep the money in their pockets by saving it for their unborn third generation. Other nations have gone far in modern medicine while we are still in the process of building a hospital unit. There is nothing wrong if we have six standard hospitals across all geopolitical zones and use our money to bring in some expert who can help in the training process so that our quest for traveling abroad on medical issues can be at least curtailed. Trust me we can do it if we are truly determined but the reason why we don’t want to do it lies on the bureaucrats.
