4 Soldiers & Civilians Killed As Boko Haram Attacked Borno Governor Kashim Shettima Convoy In Dikwa Town During Election Campaign
At least 4 people died today in a fatal attack carried out by members of the dreaded Boko Haram sect in Borno state today.
According to residents of Dikwa, the governor of Borno state, Kashim Shettima was on the campaign trail ahead of Saturday nationwide elections when his convoy came under heavy attack near a remote village.
A civilian JTF member said two soldiers and two civilians died in the attack.
There is no word on the condition of the governor as at the time of filing this report.
