Friday Nov 24, 2017 – Cameroonian House Boy Who Killed Nigerian Boss Over Salary Remanded In Ikoyi Prison

A High court in Lagos yesterday ordered a house help, Mr Leudjou Joel, to be remanded in prison custody for allegedly killing his employer, Miss Dayo Eniola over her refusal to pay his salary in advance.

21-year-old Joel, a Cameroonian, was arraigned on Monday before Justice Adedayo Akintoye by the state’s Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Adeniji Kazeem.

The defendant allegedly stabbed her employer to death.

Kazeem said the incident occurred on December 20, 2016 at the deceased 15 Prince Tayo Adesanya Street, Park View Estate, Ikoyi residence.

He requested the court to remand Joel in prison custody pending commencement of the trial, because of the heinous nature of the crime.

Justice Akintoye remanded Joel in Ikoyi Prison. Hearing will commence on the case 18th of January 2018.

Why the delay? Maybe this boy is just innocent? Maybe no proof? Maybe the rich husband did it and blame on this poor boy? Don’t just castigate him because he is not from Nigeria.
