Ejike Mbaka: The Powerful Catholic Priest That Cursed Peter Obi & Destroyed His Presidential Ambition

Renowned Nigerian priest, Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, has once again taken aim at former Anambra governor and Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi. Mbaka, who is known for his controversial statements and predictions, accused Obi of being ungrateful and of “blaspheming the altar” of his church.

In a statement during one of his programs in Enugu, Mbaka claimed that he played a crucial role in returning Obi to office after he was impeached as governor. However, Obi did not show any appreciation for the priest’s efforts. Mbaka then went on to claim that by not rewarding Adoration, Obi had committed blasphemy, and was therefore cursed.

The priest further accused Obi of being stingy and warned against picking him as running mate for Atiku Abubakar during the 2019 presidential election. He went as far as to say that Obi could only become president if God ceased to exist.

Obi has not yet responded to Mbaka’s recent remarks. However, the LP presidential candidate has been known to engage in philanthropic activities, including the donation of computer sets and other educational materials to schools, hospitals, and religious institutions.
