Eucharia Anunobi: Everyone Deserted Me When I Lost My Only Son, Suicide Not An Option

Veteran Nollywood actress and filmmaker Eucharia Anunobi, has urged people battling depression not to consider suicide as an option.

The 53-year-old actress turned pastor gave the advice by posting a video on her official Instagram page @euchariaanunobi.

She captioned it:

“I don’t know who you are and where you are now watching this video. PLEASE, SUICIDE IS NOT AN OPTION.

“I stand on the finished work of Jesus Christ and command the spirit of depression to lose its hold over you now.”

The video had her recounting the loss of her son whom she described as her best friend on numerous occasions.

“I want to let you know that I also feel what you’re feeling; I want you to use me as a point of contact.

“I lost my only son and everyone practically deserted me. I haven’t given up; I want to tell you not to give up.

“All will be well, suicide is not an option it’s a sin against God,” the evangelist said.

In 2017, Anunobi lost her only son, 15-year-old Raymond, to complications from sickle cell anemia.

woman, cry no more.i always know that fact so nollywood distancing themselves after the demise of your son is not shocking.fake lives and wickedness runs in their DNA.u could imagine deserting their sick colleagues as they wallow in pains and suffering. They only succeed in posting trash and vanity lifestyles on social media.for depression or suicidal thoughts, seek for professional help. There is hope!

People did not abandon you, dear sis. Everyone has their own issues, we may never know unless they tell us. Even me, sending you words of encouragement now, have my own challenges. Man is born free but is in chains. May God deliver us from bondage. People sympathize with us for a while and move one. Your son had accomplished his mission in life and returned to his Creator. Even unborn babies die in the womb, we may never understand some of the mysteries of life. Live your life, enjoy everyday and unwrap it daily as a gift from God. We shall all return to God some day. Live every day in dedication to God and service to humanity. Enjoy whatever time we have. To God be the glory.
