The immediate past First Lady of Nigeria, Dame Patience Jonathan was slightly embarrassed yesterday when FAAN officials at Port Harcourt airport denied her convoy access to the tarmac.
The GM of Corporate Affairs, Yakubu Dati who confirmed the step taken said it was done in line with the existing security protocol at the airport.
Here is an official statement from FAAN:
“The former First Lady’s convoy was only denied access to the foot of the aircraft during boarding formalities at the airport in line with international aviation best practices, strictly for safety reasons, as prescribed by the International Civil Aviation Organisation. Our security officials explained this fact to details of the former First Lady.
“We wish to recall that former President Goodluck Jonathan, in his recent trips from the same airport, had had to walk to the aircraft from the protocol lounge, in recognition of this ICAO regulation.”
Our former “madam on top” has forgotten that she is no longer the First Lady.
Make we no blame her it takes time getting used to.

Godwin, you ought to be ******* for calling the former first lady name. How will you feel if some one call your mom, your wife and sister or even your daughter such name. Why are you guys jumping up and down because of Buhari? He been there before what did he do? Our ex. president you will know that as you wising up that he was the best ever to rule Nigeria.

Unity, as much as i do not support Godwin calling the woman names, why are you bringing Buhari into this issue. It is as good as even you has the intent of calling Buhari names, however, this is a matter of pride on the side of the former first lady. It is clearly written there that even her husband Dr. Goodluck Jonathan observed and obeyed the policy by walking right from protocol lounge, why then wouldn’t she do same. She is just good at making issues. haba!

The problem with this illiterate former first lady – Patience Jonathan, is that she has no respect for authority or anybody for that matter. How many times have we seen Aisha Buhari flaunting herself in public? Patience J. still wants to remain in the limelight. Anyway, enjoy your freedom while it lasts, as they shall all soon be held accountable for looting Nigeria to the brink of bankruptcy. As for those who say Jonathan Goodluck was the best for Nigeria, I wish them and their kin a visitation from Boko Haram, hired assassins, kidnappers and armed robbers. Are they brain dead (Patience’s favorite insult to her husband’s opponent), stupid or devoid of any common sense? Some Nigerians are seriously in need of brain transplants. Lord have mercy!
