Idah Poly Director Solomon Sani Murdered By Hired Killers Days After Promotion
Federal Polytechnic Idah new Director of Works, Engineer Solomon Sani has been murdered.
He was killed on Tuesday around 10pm by some suspected assassins who invaded his house in Idah LGA of Kogi state.
According to family sources, the hardworking Chartered Engineer was recently promoted at work.
His brother reported the murder to police early Wednesday morning.
Here is what a family member, Ugbede Sunday Odaudu wrote about the deceased.
“May the soul of the husband of my only elder sister rest in peace. He was attacked by unknown gun men last night in his resident at Idah. Before he was killed, he is the Director of Works and Services, Federal Polytechnic, Idah, Kogi State, Nigeria. Also, he is the Field Representative of Full Gospel Business Men Fellowship.
I knew him as the preacher of gospel and organizer of Full Gospel Crusades from villages to villages and across different states in Nigeria. In harmony with my only elder sister, I was taken to his house and grew up under his doctrine immediately after the death of my parents.
In harmony with her, I was trained up to Master Degree Level and paid my PhD school fees. About two months ago when I was made an Associate Member of Nigerian Institute of Architects, he paid my registration fees even though I’m working. I can’t mention all but these are some of the things he did for me.
He always tells me we are going somewhere and encourages me to be hardworking but his dreams of going somewhere with me on this earth could not be accomplished because of the enemies of progress. He was not in class room but he has been doing his Doctorate Degree Programme in Unizik since 2015. Oh brother, who are those that aborted your dreams? Elder Engr. Solomon Ayegba Sani (JP.) continue to rest in the bosom of our Lord Jesus Christ. PEACE.”
May his gentle soul rest in peace.

This is why relocating to Nigeria is risky. When one sees the rate of murder and jealousy in the country, you become jittery. How can Nigeria progress when there is this high rate of assassinations? God please help Nigeria.
