Foluke Daramola Breaks Silence As Yeni Kuti Exposes Her Hidden Secret

Media personality Yeni Kuti has expressed strong disapproval towards Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola‘s recent statement directed at Nigerian youths.

Daramola had previously cautioned young people who, according to her, have a habit of disrespecting their elders on social media platforms.

The actress went a step further by challenging the youths to disrespect her as well, warning them that the consequences would be severe if they chose to do so.

“I beg everybody with everything you hold dear, don’t come to my page to say rubbish. I’m a disciplinarian, I won’t let it fly and I’m looking for a scapegoat.

“If you say anything stupid, the repercussion will be very grave. My true followers know that I stand for value, I stand for what’s right, I stand for culture,” she said.

In response to Daramola’s reprimand of the youth, Yeni Kuti shared her thoughts during an appearance on ‘Your View,’ a TVC program. Kuti reminisced about working with the actress 30 years ago.

She revealed that the animosity she received from Daramola was extremely unpleasant, and she could recall the experience vividly, as she was a target of Foluke’s insults herself.

Kuti also questioned the actress’s insistence on being shown respect, suggesting that Daramola might be facing the consequences of her past actions.

“Foluke Daramola, I like her, I talk to her but I remember when she insulted me.

“I just googled her now, she’s 45, and I am 62. We did a job about 30 years ago and I was only doing what they asked me to do.

“I didn’t take money from the job but the enmity I got from her was terrible so I’m wondering if she remembers. I remember because it was done to me because now she is demanding respect when you reap what you sow, karma is a leveller,” she stated.
