Dec 24, 2014 – Hardworking Nigerians Donate 54.4 M To Buhari As Lobbyists Give Out N21B For Jonathan Reelection

APC Presidential candidate, General Buhari has said his desire not to become a hostage to anyone is the reason behind his decision to rely on the sacrifices of ordinary Nigerians to fund his campaign.

This was made known by GMB during in Abuja yesterday

This is even as he announced that N54, 415,386.70 had so far been received as donations through direct deposit and sale of cards.

He expressed the confidence that the financial support he was receiving from ordinary Nigerians would see him through the campaign period.

Over the weekend, over 20 contractors who lobbied for contracts from Jonathan’s administration donated a whopping N21 billion. Many Nigerian think the money should have been used to improve electricity in the country.

  1. The only way jonathan can win is if the election is rigged
this 21billion is meant to do just that.
I pity the future of Nigeria.
We have to take it by force from Jonathan, he is determined to die in Aso rock

    • You are right. We won’t take it force but with our votes. GMB pls send the account details once again so that we can contribute. GEJ wen will u start sharing the money let me collect my own? It’s our money. But u wnt get my vote . Pls start sharing quickly .

  2. Nigerians, please, donation is donation whether one or trillion naira. let’s not forget that this is a sitting President and by Nigeria standard you don’t expect less. Any sitting state governor will garner as much. Is this the first time such donation is been sought for. Anyway it is politics. The media should be fair to the ruling and opposition parties in their coverage and leave Nigerians to judge.

  3. If I were president Jonathan, I will keep that 21 billion naira received for my personal use after I step down from power next year. This president is the most unpopular president Nigeria ever had, so therefore, it is impossible for a failure like him to win reelection by any means. Only in Nigeria can a failure like president Jonathan will seek for reelection with his failed policies of almost six years. If the president political operatives give Nigerian people money and bags of rice on election day, they should take it because is part of their looted money. But when they get to the voting booths, they should cast their precious votes for General Mohammad Buari and his running mate. No amount of looted money can undo the damage and hardship the president’s leadership failure and imcompentence have caused suffering Nigerian people for almost six years. As it is impossible for a camel to pass through the eye of a niddle, so also, it is impossible for this failed president to remain in power beyond 2015 after the presidential election. Nigerians deserve a better, passionate, patriotic and competent president come 2015 that will rescue our sinking nation from Jonathan’s disastrous agenda. He cannot win the reelection even by election fraud because General Buari victory will be a landslide victory that no political criminal can twist.

  4. Truth is the only way to freedom. So much as the action of PDP may be condemnable, is APC saying their account is correct? That that is the amount Buhari will use to campaign? When, for inauguration, Aregbesola spent N 700mil in Osun, bringing in many Musicians. Is that true governance. We shall see. Let the electorates be vigilant and intelligent. A masquerade is dangerous that a human being, because you never can be sure who is inside.

  5. Please people should leave president Goodluck alone, i dont know why you are kicking him from all conner,Why? WHY?in the Western world, by fighting Ebloa Virius out of the country alone will give Goodluck a clean clear Victory, but here revise is the case,we dont remember past achivments, we are fault finders, if Buhari come in now,the fault finders will still complain bad about him, if people donate 100 trillion naira to Goodluck, what is your concern, do you remember how much Obama recieved from donations?how much did his opponet got despite being a rich and inflaitial man, please we should pray for a good leader not lion in a sheep skin, if God want an indipendent party to lead Nigeria, let it be.

    Happy Xamas Nigerians

  6. My question to all the Gmb supporters ….Did Buhari forget anything in Aso Rock that he wants to get back and get .

    • Hello brother Okechukwu, Buari spent almost two years at military Barracks in Lagos as Nigerian Head before Babangida coup in 1984. He hasn’t live in Aso Rock Villa before, therefore, we (Nigerians) we give him the same privilege that president Jonathan misused for almost six years so that the General can deliver the dividends of democracy to suffering Nigerian people. Aso Rock Villa is nobody house but the people’s house, and Nigerian people have given this failed occupant the ultimatum to vacate the villa after the upcoming presidential election. General Buari will surely get the people’s votes (keys) has the new occupant after the 2015 general election. Shikena!

  7. GMB campain organisers should pls circulate the account number to us. I believe ordinary nigerians are ready to donate their token to see this present GEJ lead administration which is xterisd by corruption out of Aso Rock come February 2015. I am ready to sacrifice my little to buy back the future of Nigeria.

  8. Pls GMB let me contribute to dis change dat will remove me from dis conc acidified ‘frsh’ air. I need to know d accont number

  9. My problem be say why is they draws Jonatan picture to be small pass Buhari picture? Is a rong. Is ivuls. Is wikedity. That is my problems.

  10. Ok na your excellency …let the sharing begin. 21 billion naira…make I get my own share but my vote? Forget it.

  11. I am highly disappointed in GEJ because of his stand on corruption, a man from a humble background like him should not be the on e to treat corruptions with levity. In my candid and personal opinion, GEJ is too soft to fight corruption which is the biggest problem we are battling as a nation. Six years is a long time for any serious leader to stamp out corruption or at least reduce it significantly but since he has failed to do anything in this direction I think he should step aside for GMB.
