The Bible And The Quran: A Personal Opinion Part 1 , Part 2 , Part 3

In the last four weeks, we have looked at the divine authorship claims of both the Holy Bible and the Koran. In conclusion, we shall be asking the Muslim apologists a few questions which we humbly hope they would honestly oblige us.

Surah 7:158 described Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) as “al-nabi al-ummi” i.e “the unlearned prophet”. Muslims are generally unashamed to say their prophet was an illiterate because it would imply that as an unlearned man, he had no hand in the formulation of the Koran, thereby giving it divine legitimacy.

The record however tells us that even if the prophet was acclaimed to be an illiterate, he was an astute businessman, so trusted that his first wife Khadija employed his services in her businesses. It is almost certain that a man like that would have relied heavily on the use of his mind, and as a well-travelled trader, he would have seen countless religious monuments across his routes and heard many religious stories as well.

Experts say that there were stories in circulation in Arabia, especially those told by pagan Arabians and heretic Byzantine Christians who fled the persecutions of Europe at that time, which we have seen from evidence that found their way into the Koran.

For example, in Surah 54:50 we read that the universe was created in a twinkling of an eye, in 41: 9 we read that it was created in two days, then in verse 10 and 12 we read that the ‘seven heavens’ were created in two days. It appears that after these assertions, the author of the Koran came across the Biblical story of creation and that is why in Surah 10:3 and 32:4 we read that creation happened in 6 days.

It appears that after all these stories; the compliers of the Koran bonded all these different accounts of creation together, leaving us with all these varying stories and leaving the apologists of today the task of trying to make sense of its all.

Surah 32:5, tells us a day to Allah is ‘a thousand years of your reckoning’. Then few Surahs later, in chapter 70:4 we are told that a day to Allah is 50,000 years!

Regarding Jesus Christ, Surah 3:55 say ‘surely, I will… raise thee to myself…’ That was Allah speaking of Isa -Jesus.  Confirming this, Surah 19:33 says ‘…the peace of God… shall be upon me on the day that I would die, and on the day I will be raised from the dead’ that was Jesus speaking of his own death in a manner that did not suggest he was speaking of coming to die in some far distant future as some apologists want us to believe today.

Despite this glaring and self-explanatory statements, Surah 4:157-158 tells us that Jesus did not die but that ‘…it only seemeth so in their eyes…’, i.e the Jews that killed him. Confused, some Muslims have tried to explain that Jesus would indeed come back in some distant future to taste death, but do the above words of the Koranic Jesus appear like one speaking about some future death? If so, why can’t we just get a clear verse that say so?

Everyone who crossed paths with Jesus Christ, friends and foes alike, all acknowledged his Sonship to God. And this fact is clearly recorded in all known history. However, over 600 after Jesus Christ, Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) appeared and exclaimed “…how can Allah have a son when he has no wife…?” In other words, the Koran is telling us that the only way to have a son is through a wife! Yet, the same Koran tells us when Mary raised the same objection by asking how she could bear a child when no man had touched her; the Angel Gabriel said nothing was impossible for Allah to do. Yet the Prophet of Islam is telling us that what the same Koran says was possible with God was not anymore.

Here, Christians say, lays the Islamic dilemma. They say the Muslims clearly do not understand, like their misunderstanding of other Christian doctrines, the concept of the Sonship of Jesus Christ to God.

Surah 19:30 tells us Jesus preached Islam even as an infant, and we are told that Jesus preached the same message as prophet Mohammad (PBUH). Yet, from records, we know that the lives of both figures are irreconcilable opposites.

From one being a celibate to the other marrying more women than is permitted in his own religion, from one never lifting a sword to the other taking part in several wars-whether they were defensive wars or not, killing is killing, and so on, we see traits that put the two figures apart. How could they have preached the same message?

The Koran tells us Jesus Christ was an unsuccessful Islamic prophet, the question is, how could Allah who promised to protect Jesus’ message, protect him and his followers till the day of judgment allow his message to be corrupted? Even if it were true, why did Allah have to wait over 600 years to correct this corruption by revealing the Koran?

We are told that it was Allah that made it appear Jesus was crucified when in truth he had substituted a strange man for Jesus to be killed, and Surah 61: 14 tells us it was him who helped those who believe, question is, why kill an innocent man in the place of Jesus, and if it was Allah that made it appear to the Jews that they killed Jesus, why blame his disciples and Christians for believing so, and could he not be accused of being behind the distortion and by extension the so called corruption of the Bible?

If as we have seen, the Koran says the Holy Bible was given as guidance to mankind, that Jesus was born of a virgin, that he is the Spirit and Word of God, the messiah and so on, and yet we are told by the same Koran that his message was corrupted, of what importance then is all the uniqueness of the Koranic Jesus if Allah knew he would turn out an unsuccessful preacher of Islam in the end?

Christian clerics say there is deliberate denial of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ because of its implication to the Islamic theology. And this is the crux of the matter, because the Holy Bible itself says “…this is the anti-Christ, he who denies the Father and the Son…” 1 John 2:22.

Could Jesus have died without the crucifixion as was foretold? Jesus himself told us countless times in the Holy Bible that he came solely to die for the sins of man. Yet, even though the Koran denies this, from Islamists like late Ahmed Deedat to the Ahmadiya Muslims of India, we have seen various interpretations of what happened to Jesus on that first Easter night in Palestine some 2000+ years ago.

From overwhelming evidence, we know the story about Jesus not dying on the cross was borrowed from the Gospel of Barnabas written by one strange figure just immediately after the first century, a man who many experts believe to be a former Roman Catholic turns Muslim. As I pointed out in Part II, Muslims love his work so much that many Islamic authorities have had countless copies printed, especially in Pakistan.

Another reason Muslims deny the death of Christ according to some apologists is because they think it is a tragedy and an indictment on God to allow his prophet to die at the hand of sinners. Yet as I pointed out in one of my articles, the cross is not a tragedy. It is not an ending. It is not a symbol of death. It is victory; it is a beginning and symbol of the newness of life for the Christians and for all who believe. Jesus went to it willingly, knowing the implication for himself and mankind.

In any case, we are told that many of God’s messengers were ridiculed while many more were put to death, so why believe a prophet of God cannot get killed?

Then Surah 4:48 tells us that the sin of shirk, i.e worshiping any other god but Allah, is an unforgivable sin. Yet Surah 39:53 tells us that Allah forgives all sins. Does all sins include shirk? In fact, we are told that Abraham committed the sin of shirk, yet apologists say the father of Islam is Abraham, why so?

Surah 17:86 and 16:101 tells us respectively that Allah’s words can be nullified according to the Islamic Doctrine of Abrogation, even though we are told elsewhere in the same Koran that his words can never be changed.

We are told that Muslims, Christians and Jews are all worshipers of one and the same God and so will all be together in paradise , but in 3:85 we read that ‘…whoso desireth other than Islam as a religion…shall be …lost…’

Today, apologists tell us that Adam was the first Muslim even though Surah 6:14 and 163 tells us categorically that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was the very first to surrender to Allah and thus became the first Muslim.

Finally, on the most important question about the fate of man, Surah 8:29 tells us Allah will appoint man a criterion to judge between right and wrong even though the same Koran tells us man has no choice in the matter as Allah will decide what he wills. While Surah 7:8-9 tells us that going to heaven is determined by weighing a man’s deed on a scale, we read in other verses that Allah forgives whoever he wills and that one’s going to Paradise is purely on Allah’s decision.

Koran categorically and emphatically forbids worshiping objects as an ‘abomination’ and ‘Satan’s handiwork’ but we see what today’s Muslims do with the Kaaba, Mecca, where they travel miles, across the Atlantic, bow facing it in prayers and kissing the stone which historically was an object of pagan worship in pre-Islamic Arabia before Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) was born. I can go on and on.

And yet the apologists want us to believe the book was dictated from a Mother Book that has existed eternally in heaven? I rest my case…

  1. your source of wisdom will not ru dry. I wish people like you could be chanced to take leadership position because u are a born leader. am still driving will say one or two things when i get home

  2. I think the author of this piece was a muslim because you seem to know more than us.
Nobody is perfect as no religion is perfect. We will get to know the real one when we get to heaven. Let us al live in unity and avoid religious sentiment that this type of article may cause.
I’m a muslim by birth but not a practicing muslim.

    • I agree he knows more truth of koran than some muslim. See how he is stating it verse by verse. I really like the writer. May be our path will cross one day. I will like to befriend him

    • Mr. Toheeb, point of correction. Please you should have said he knows more than you.

Never say he knows more than us. Your post defeats nonsense you wrote. If you are not a practicing muslim, how do you confirm veracity of his article?. Your case is like a ***** praising a fellow ******.

For the fact that you are not a practicing muslim, you need to be quiet and learn before opening your mouth.

  3. DD apologists are **** now where are they can’t they talk does that mean the writer is right. Where are you people

    • I agree with you, this brave ex-muslim has put all the apologists in their place because everything he wrote here is the truth because he was a Muslim before he saw the light

  4. This debate is capable of converting a non solid muslim to Christianity because floors the writer of Koran. Pls who wrote the Koran self, I really want to know

  5. Aside of these write ups being too long to read, I just hope una no go beat una sefs over social media on top this matter

  6. When you have an individual like the author of this ***** who is obviously immersed in **** quoting the Glorious Qur’an deliberately OUT of Context to support his ******understanding you will laugh if you an informed person.

He ****readers with quotes citing verses that bears no correlation for example in Qur’an 32:4 – the Qur’an spoke about the command of Allah to from earth which takes a day which if measured in human time span is equivalent to 1000 years.

The second verse the ****quoted as comparison is Qur’an 70:4 which spoke about the speed of travel of Angels and Spirit to their Creator which put that at 50,000 years of human time space.

At the end of the day majority of ***** will die believing what they have been told about Jesus is correct – but as Muslims we say to you – we will all find out on the Day of Resurrection who will be the REAL LOSERS.

Do you as a Christian say to me that Jesus claim to be God in John 10:30 I say you read that verse “My Father and I are one” out of context read John 17:11 and John 17:22 for the context in which Jesus was speaking in John 10:30.

As a Muslim we read Jesus statement in John 17:3 in which Jesus gave Godhead to the Almighty God as THE ONE AND ONLY TRUE GOD and we say Jesus called himself a PROPHET SENT BY GOD (And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.)

We also read Jesus statement in John 8:42 – Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me.

All we can do is shake our heads at your CONFUSION and ************* PEACE!

    • Mr. Teejay, thank you. I have raised the same thing you said here in his part 3. I feel reluctant to even challenge the author bcuz he is debating himself.

He keeps saying this is a debate but who is he debating with exactly?. I dont understand that. I am going to forward his email and his article to muslim debater, ACADiP network to review trash he wrote and challenge him accordingly.

It is a waste of time refuting him on this platform. And by the time ACADIP challenge him in open debate, I will like to see Naijagists publish it as well so that his fellow ***** can see how *****he is.

Only ***** think the author knows islam better than Muslim like Toheeb up there. So i am forwarding his contact information to ACARDIP now

      • you have not answered any of the questions he raised from part I to IV do what are you saying… I am sure in a debate he would flaw you guys hands down…

        • I guess you missed it. I don’t even understand how reasonable people would call this a debate. Debate with who?

If autho himself raff my comment, he would published part3 not have pu

          • Sorry for the typo errors above. Let me type correctly this time in response to Mr. Veritas

I guess you missed it. I don’t even understand how reasonable people would call this a debate. Debate with who?. If author himself read my comments, he would not have published part 3.

  7. I pray the light of God shine on you people to know the truth.
Any religion that support violence and terrorises people should be be avoided
I pity the writer for leaving his email, they must have bombarded his email with threatening mails because the editor clearly warned them.
Sorry asses, i really pity them becasue they are hell-bound
I’m not perfect either just saying my own.
Kudos my guy for this brave writeup

  8. Joyful Amaka, where were you when your supposed lord and personal Savior mentioned a sentence in Luke 19 vs 27. Was that not a violent word?. Christian need not be pretending not to be violent. The most violent and terrorist in history were Christian alike. In case you need examples from world history of genocides perpetrated by Christians, let me know. I shall support every violent genocide with its Bible references.

    • Jesus christ was only given an illustration during his teaching so don’t equate that to support your ***** based religion. Read carefully from that same LUKE 19 verse 11 to 27 with an open mind, then you will get the overall accurate information. How can someone who insisted that we drop our gift according to mathew chapter 5 verse 24 that we are to offer to God and go back and make peace if we there remember that we have differences with someone, support violent acts? Jesus christ has always insisted that we make peace with our enemy as christian. During his lifetime here on earth, Jesus christ never supported violence in any means. At one point he even berated peter who drew out sword to cut off the eye of one the soldiers that came to arrest him in mount Gethsemane. If Jesus had loved violence, do you think he would have seriously warned peter to desist from such violent act? So don’t twist the holy scripture to support your ******-based religion or to portray Jesus as a violent leader of christian, ok?

  9. I have forwarded Mr Albert Afeso Akanbi’s information to a muslim organisation to review his articles and challenge him accordingly.

    Thank you

  10. Bible preaches violence than Islam. Bible mentioned word SWORD more than 400 times but Quran never mention SWORD for once. End will justify the means.

  11. Endurance thanks for your response… Jesus lived in an even harsher era than Mohammad but never took up arms against his enemies… from records, Mohammad loved blood…

  12. Mr Veritas and Endurance, do not forget it was Jesus who ordered his disciples to acquire a sword. He even commanded them to sell their cloths in case they had no money to get one. What really transpired was that during his arrest, he saw that he could not withstand the array of armies sent to arrest him. He mellowed down, the reason being that he could not overpower those armies with many armours compared to few swords gotten by his disciple to fight. It was one of these swords that was used to smite someone’s ear which Jesus healed back. Had it being those armies were not armed more than Jesus disciples with few words, their would have being a different story to tell. Am sure, blood will flow and Jesus would as well saved.

    • Omoluabi…. do no take literally what is written in luke chapter 22 verse 36 where jesus asked his disciples to buy sword for themselves. Jesus was here speaking to his disciples in a figurative term. In the bible, the scripture liking a sword to God’s word the “BIBLE” that can cut deep and pierce into the marrow of the listeners that hear the preaching about God. Take note of how it is figuratively rendered in Hebrew chapter 4 verse 12 which says“for the word of God is alive and active, sharper than any double edged sword, it penetrate even to dividing soul and spirit, joint and marrow, it judges the thought and attitude of the heart” end of quote. Can you now see clearly that what Jesus ordered his disciples to buy was not a literal sword, but a scripture through which they can use in preaching and reaching the deepest heart of there listeners that hears there preaching? There were hebrew scriptures in existence ever before jesus and his disciple came to the world that point to the coming of messiah, that is jesus, and the powerful work and signs he will perform, as well as his purpose of coming. His disciples therefore needed such sword-like information with them while embarking on there preaching tour to pierce into the heart of those who hear there preaching. That was why he advised them to sell their garment and buy such sword for themselves while going for there preaching…look! jesus is no ordinary man. The bible tells us that he was a mighty spirit creature in heaven before he was miraculously transferred into the womb of a jewish woman named mary who latter gave birth to him. Nevertheless, while here on earth jesus still maintained his grandeur, supremacy as the second most powerful person next to God almighty in the whole of the universe. There is nothing he can’t accomplish as the son of the most high God. He came to the world for a purpose. He needed no physical sword to defend himself with, likewise his disciples. No man on earth could be his match due to the overwhelming power and the authority he possessed from God. Now, when peter cut off the eye of one of the men that came to arrest him, jesus became wrathful and reprimanded peter telling him that “for all who take up sword shall perish by the sword” also adding that, did peter think “he cannot appeal to his father in heaven to supply him at this moment more than 12 legions of angels to do away with this men?” He then concluded by saying“ how would the scripture fulfil that say it must take place this way? So @Omoluabi can you now see that even thousand upon thousand of soldiers are no match for jesus if his mission was to fight here on earth? Jesus Christ could have commanded few of this heavenly armies who will in turn appear in twinkling of an eye to destroy this fleshly beings that came to arrest him had it being he wanted to. But mind you, he never did so for a purpose. Long ago many prophet had prophesied that he would be betrayed, arrested and be put to death unjustly to save mankind in general from sin and death. That was why you saw that he did not respond and cautioned peter never to repeat such violent act. No place in the bible that tells us that jesus fought war or personally engage in violent act with anyone. I repeat, you will never see it. He rather taught us christians to remain at peace with everyone even when under provocation. Take another instance, jesus taught his listeners back then in Luke chapter 6 verse 28,29 that “But I say to you do not resist someone who is wicked, but if someone slaps you on one cheek, turn to them the other also, if someone takes your coat, do not withhold your shirt from them” does this not show to us that jesus christ is a non violent man who advocate for peace rather than violence? Does it not also diametrically opposed the teaching that jesus christ advocate for sel-defence using violent means? But that is not the case with prophet Muhammed who fought so many wars during his time spilling people’s blood. THE DIFFERENCE IS CLEAR!

  13. Amanda, this Naijagist will not publish whatever comes out of debate between if it actually comes up. We here have answered his questions but he refuses to read and verify our irrefutable bombshell we used to buttress our points. He was not aware of those facts or probably minding not to read comments. A **** person need to read comments on his posts to see reactions and submissions. I repeat, had it being he read our comments, I and Amanda, in his first and second part, am sure he will never venture into releasing the third and final part. As Amanda had said, Afeso will soon be invited to real debate if he really want to see the truth. How I wish his fellow congregants who are commenting here on ***** can witness the whole saga and see that ********************* by Israel and some true pastors. if this site permits me, I have numerous publications by Israel and other intelligent people who are not Muslims nor atheist alike but fellow Christians who knew the real truth regarding the authenticity of the bible.

    • You mind them? . A guy was even saying to me up there that I have never refuted the author. Goes to show you that they don’t read.

  14. The glorious Quran has been confirmed by historians, science to be a book without contradictions unlike the bible. I guess the business mind of the prophets suffice him to write about biology, genetics, mountains and the rest. Areas that only has been confirmed by science in recent times. The Quran is not a book of science but a book of ‘signs’, i.e. ayats. There are more than six thousand ‘signs’ in the Quran of which many deal with science. Given are 20 major examples:

    Major Examples

    Celestial bodies in Rotation
    Splitting of an Atom
    Expanding Universe
    Pain receptors in skin
Fetus Protected by 3 Veils of Darkness
    Function of the Frontal Cerebrum
Milk Produced between intestine and blood
    Hearing first sense
Barrier between 2 seas of water
    Shape of the Earth
    7 Layers of Earth
    Mountains and their deep roots
    Darkness of the sea
    Paths in the Sky
    Black Hole
    Supernova
    Formation of Clouds
    Source of Iron
    Space Exploration
Preservation of the body of Pharoah

All this was revealed 1400 years ago, but then again he unlettered, suscessfull buiness man must have written all this. We know that’s not true. No one can master the creation of God so perfectly and exact. Therefore, “Behold! In the creation Of the heavens and the earth, and in the alternation of Night and Day – There are indeed Signs For men of understanding.” [Al-Quran 3:190]

Unlike the Quran, the bibble was a compilation 600 years after the death of Jesus (pbuh). Hence, reasons you will find countless errors and contradiction in the write up. Some bible refer him as God, other as son. I guess the writer is focusing more on his tittle as a son. So what happens to the portion of that same bible referring him as Mighty God? And please, I hope the writer will not confuse us here of how His God and also Son of God. Meanwhile, there is no portion of the bible where Jesus (pbuh) called him self God and say worship him. Nor is there a portion where Jesus directly requested for the collection of the tithes. The only common message he brought to his people was the onenes of God. Refitting the claim made by someone who called his great master. He said am not great, the only great one is father. Meanwhile, the term father was only as a metaphor as there are several other sons of God in the bible.
This is consistent with the message of all other messengers (Noah., Abraham, David……,,,,) that have come prior to Jesus and Mohammed (peace be upon them both).

Though am not able to reply to all point raised, not due to lack of knowledge but as I read on, I realised the writer is not searching for truth. I mean, how can you say we worship the Kaaba, it proves you are either ****** or ………

Anyways, there is this verses of the Quran that answers it all for me. Listed below are few of them:

The dwellers of Paradise will call out to the dwellers of Hell: “We have found that what our Lord promised us is true. Have you found that what your Lord promised you is true?” They will say: “Yes, we have!”… (Quran 7:44).

And they will turn on one another accusingly. They will say: “You came to us from a position of power [i.e. ordered us with polytheism, and stopped us from the truth].” They will reply: “No! It was you who would not believe – we had no authority over you – and you were already exceeding all limits. Our Lord’s sentence on us is just and we must all taste the punishment. We led you astray as we ourselves were astray.” (Quran 37:27-32)

And they all shall appear before Allah (on the Day of Resurrection); then the weak will say to those who were arrogant, “Verily, we were following you; can you avail us anything against God’s Torment?” They will say: “Had God guided us, we would have guided you. It makes no difference to us (now) whether we rage, or bear (these torments) with patience; there is no place of refuge for us.” (Quran 14:21)

May God put the truth in our hearts and count us amongst the guided. .

    • Put the two books side by side and you will discover that the Quran is just an adulterated Bible. we have just been Wasting our precious time debating about Christianity and Islam for both are the Royal battle between the descendants of Isaac and Ismael. The Bible gives us the account of the Isaac descendants and how they encounter the creator (God). The Quran on the other hand also narrated the account of Ismael descendants and their believe about the creator. Note that this is one family each claiming supremacy as to who is the heir.

  15. You have to read and understand scriptures with guidance of Allah. Spiritual interpretation as well as literal, subjective and objective interpretation is required, otherwise you can go astray like the author had done in many of his interpretation.

  16. 1. Well, anybody born into a religion believes He is in the best religion.
    .
    2. I don’t know which religion comes first, but whichever comes first, God is aware when the other is about to emerge yet He did not stop it which now causes confusion today..
    .
    3. To a christian, Christianity is the true religion yet muslims are given birth everyday to children that will perish in Hell fire.
…To a muslim, Islam is the true religion yet Christians are giving birth everyday to children that will perish in Hell fire.
[ The Creator of Everything is not stupid ]
    .
    4. Why is it always Christian VS Muslim?
    .
    5. We all belief God is all powerful yet We tend to fight for Him. If you believe Your God answers prayers, I think instead of making it physical among ourselves let us go to our closet and pray to God to destroy other religion.
    .
    6. In this life, everybody is born to be jealous, we all want the dies to turn in our favour.
    .
    7. If you kill for religion, you are just wasting lifes…No God sent You…

    …let me pause..

  17. To me,the reason why God said we human should leave judgement to HIM is a case like this one. If Christians can be true to themselves, then there will be no argument in this planet about the Superiority, authenticity of Bible or Jesus. Devil himself has already penetrated, using some who called themselves Christians to twist the Word of God for their own gain..Bible warn about that anyway.
I don’t know much about Koran, but from the Bible perspective, Muslim(TRUE) or Prophet Mohammed is a lineage of Ishmael mentioned in the Bible, every Christian knows or should know what lead (DOUBT ABOUT GOD PROMISE) Abram impregnating their house help as suggested by his wife, but at the end,God still fulfilled HIS promise to Abram and Sarah which lead to having Isaac.
God Himself blessed Hagar and Ishmael despite the fact he was not the promised one but made it clear he will be violent in nature, which is again result of human mistake or disobedient.
The friction i see today between Christian and Muslim is still the same between Ishmael and Isaac, but the truth of the matter is Devil has penetrated, misleading people by twisting the whole story in a canal way, at the end,the Superiority of Jesus (Yeshua) is unquestionable as acknowledged by Muslims themselves. The writer here is talking about APOLOGISTS which in other word the agent of ****** working as Muslim.

  18. My only question is can the author please tell me where the Name Bible comes from I mean is there any place in the bible wehere it refer to itself as Bible if not where do u get that name from thanks

  19. “generally unashamed to say their prophet was an illiterate because it would imply that as an unlearned man, he had no hand in the formulation of the Koran, thereby giving it divine legitimacy.

Experts say that there were stories in circulation in Arabia, especially those told by pagan Arabians and heretic Byzantine Christians who fled the persecutions of Europe at that time, which we have seen from evidence that found their way into the Koran” from above quotation from your article it show you are writing to******** towards Islam and nt to bring out truths which I believe u don’t know the truth. M reason ur article lacks historical refrences. Who are the expert, Arabian peninsula covered where that stories are in circulation, and who are the Auth of these stories please can u provide answers to these questions

  20. Toheeb is right, let wait till that time when God himself will open everything up.
But one thing I know is that you need to be faithful and honest in all you do, xtians or muslim love is all we all need

  21. My question to Mr. Albert Afeso and his supporters stand. Who was Mr. Albert debating?. Can someone tell me please?

  22. ALL THE SAINT IN THE BIBLE AND QURAN ARE WARRIOR , THEY ARE ALL TROUBLE MAKERS, PEOPLE SHOULD READ THEIR BIBLE VERSE VERY WELL ,

ONE OF THE SAINTS THAT WE RESPECT MOST SAID HE IS NOT AT PEACE BUT FOR SWORD.

PLEASE READ MATHEW 10 VERSE 30 TO 36 , YOU WILL BE SURPRISED

    • The problem with you bible readers is that you often failed to engage in more research in order to ascertain why a particular word is been uttered by a particular bible character. When jesus said in mathew 10:34-36 part of which says “ do not think I came to bring peace to the earth, I came to bring not peace but sword”. He did not have in mind to engage in violent act. What he said mean something differently. During the 1st century CE, the jews back then were still known to be using in there worship to God what is called the “MOSAIC LAW” or the “LAW OF MOSES”. All there teachings and learning at that time were based on that scripture. Now during when jesus christ started his earthly ministry, he brought a totally new teachings and divine messages that was stark different from what was normally taught by the then jewish religious leader-the saducees and pharisees which was capable of dividing various homes and religious organisations at that time. The divine message he brought from God was like a literal sword that eventually caused serious division among families, friends, neighbours and religious members. Consider one of the message he delivered that became a sword that caused serious uproar and sparked division among the then religious people found in the book of mathew 5:27,28. “You heard that it was said that ‘you must not commit adultery. But I say to you that everyone who keeps on looking at a woman so as to have passion for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart”. Surely this was a new message contrary to what was normally taught from the (MOSAIC LAW) or (LAW OF MOSES) by the then jewish religious leaders. He also said in Mathew 5:38,39 that “you have heard that it was said: eye for an eye and tooth for tooth. However, I say to you: do not resist the one who is wicked, but whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other also to him.” Those religious leaders believed from the LAW OF MOSES that whoever does something bad to you, you should do in like manner to that person. Now those religious leaders became indignant listening to jesus’ new teachings to the point that they began to plot how to execute him. Many eventually left there family members and became jesus followers which was the division he said he was going to cause using God’s word, that is, the sword he spoke about. In fact thousands upon thousands of them became believers leaving behind there formally held religious views taught by there masters. What happen was like using literal sword to divide homes, religious organisation, family members and friends in a conflict. And that was what his new movement and divine teaching eventually brought. It brought division, dissension, opposition and discord to the point that many of his followers were massacred and martyred including himself. None of jesus christ followers or disciples raced any physical sword to fight or slain anyone except for peter who acted alone and was seriously rebuked by jesus. So do you now see that the sword jesus mentioned was not a literal sword but of God’s word or divine messages from God?

May Allah guide us to the straight path to the path of those whom Thou hath favoured not of those whom earn His anger nor of those who go astray. Amin
