April 30, 2013 – Capital Oil MD Ifeanyi Ubah Arrested By The EFCC Over Fuel Subsidy Scam

The managing director and boss of Capital Oil and Gas limited, Ifeanyi Ubah has been arrested.

Ubah was arrested by EFCC operatives at his house in Maitama, Abuja this afternoon.

According to a detective at the anti-corruption agency, Ifeayi Ubah had earlier ignored all the invitations for voluntary interrogations in regards to his role in the multi-billion naira fuel subsidy scam.

He is currently undergoing investigation at EFCC’s headquarter in Abuja.

Over 40 people have been arraigned in connection with fuel subsidy scam so far.

  3. Nigeria EFCC enough of this mess, you guys should find yourselves jobs to do than to disturb CHIEF IFEANYI UBA CEO Capital OIL & GAS on your so called Fuel subsidy scam. Are you people not seeing the Nigeria Ex-PRESIDENT OBASANJO who accepted that he deserved probe by the FG. OBJ defrauded Nigeria in many ways but nobody arrested him. Now you go after a safe employed gentleman, simple because he has indicated his interest in the Anambra State Governorship election 2015.
    I challenge every Nigeria, if EFCC is real and transparent; let them arrest OBASANJO who committed all sorts of atrocities in Nigeria for 8yrs. Still he is proud to rubbish GOODLUCK calling his administration another CHOP CHOP.
