January 18, 2016 – Lassa Fever Disease Virus Lands In Ido Ekiti Ekiti State As Female Student Nurse Tested Positive For LFI Infection
The first case of Lassa Fever virus infection has been reported in Ekiti state.
According to Health commissioner, Dr Ojo Olurotimi, the first infection happened at the Federal Teaching Hospital Ido Ekiti over the weekend.
The unidentified female nursing student is currently being treated at an Isolation ward in the hospital.
