Sport BET Lotto Winner Kidnapped In Molete Ibadan After Buying New Lexus From Winnings

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers have struck again in Ibadan, the capital city of Oyo State, Nigeria. According to reports, the gunmen kidnapped an unidentified man in his Lexus Jeep on Monday, in the Molete area of the city.

The men, dressed in black, stopped the car on the Molete fly-over bridge in Ibadan with sporadic gunshots, causing residents of the area to run for safety. One of the two people inside the car managed to escape by jumping off the Malete flyover bridge, while the car owner was whisked away to an unknown destination by the gunmen.

An anonymous passenger who managed to escape narrated the incident, stating that they were being tailed for a while before finally being stopped by the gunmen at Molete.

“We were trailed and stopped here on the bridge, they fired gunshots, and because of the fear of being shot, I ran for safety by jumping off the bridge.

“They snatched car keys and fled with the car and the owner.”

The young man added that the car owner had just bought the car after he won a sport bet recently.

The incident has caused anxiety and fear among residents of the area, who are worried about their safety.

Kidnapping has become a serious problem in Nigeria, particularly in the northern and southern parts of the country. Criminal gangs often target individuals for ransom, and this has resulted in the loss of lives and property. Security agencies have been struggling to contain the situation, and cases of kidnapping have continued to rise in recent times.

The Oyo State Police Command has not yet issued a statement regarding the incident, but it is expected that an investigation will be launched to apprehend the suspects and rescue the victim. The incident serves as a reminder of the need for increased security measures to protect the lives and property of citizens.
