When religion meets tradition, a battle line will be drawn. This is what happened when a masquerader opted for a statue of Jesus for his performance during a festival in the southern part of Anambra state recently.
Those who came across this bizarre photo online are divided in their opinions.
While some are of the opinion that this is a mere statue, others however believe the masquerader is insulting the person of Christ.

That is white people status deceiving us it Christ Statue. Bible only decribe his look but far from that status.. if anybody calling that statue Christ is issue to the son of God. White people should tell the christains where they got that picture from. They have brain wash us enough. You can only paint an image you have seen.. please take note.

Whether it is a white statue or black statue it is an insult, this is why I like the muslims, you cannot use Mohammed’s picture to do such a thing. Let tradition be tradition and religion be religion.

That is not my Savior – Jesus Christ of Nazareth, no matter what anybody says. None of us alive ever saw Jesus or knows what he looked like. I don’t believe in statues and don’t worship them.
