Nov 13, 2014 – Nigerian Super Eagles Beat Congo With 2-0, Qualifies For AFCON 2015
Nigeria is finally back on the winning track for AFCON2015 (African Cup of Nations 2015)
Today the defending champions, Nigeria’s Super Eagles beat Congo Brazzaville team in style with 2-0.
This latest victory has revived their bid to qualify for AFCON2015 as South Africa and Cameroon ensured their presence in the finals.
South Africa beat Sudan 2-1 in their first outing since the slaying of captain Senzo Meyiwa to top Group A, while Cameroon edged past DR Congo 1-0 to claim Group D.
The players recalled by Stephen Keshi, Ikechukwu Uche and Aaron Samuel both scored as Eagles defeated Congo in Point Noire.
The eagle has put themselves on track to qualify for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea.
This is a wake up call for Keshi to select his players wisely and avoid taking bribe.
