“Oba Saheed Elegushi Loves Women Yes I Know” – Wife Breaks Silence In New Interview

In a recent interview with BBC Yoruba, the first wife of Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi, Olori Sekinat, said that she is not worried by her husband’s fondness for women. She stated that from the start of their relationship, she was aware of the monarch’s love for women and chose to continue with the relationship anyway due to her love for him. Sekinat went on to say that all men are inherently promiscuous.

Here is what Queen Sekinat told BCC in the chat;

“My mother had a shop on Lagos Island, where the king first spotted me and took interest in me. Despite having a boyfriend at the time, I gave him a chance and we became friends. The king was familiar with my boyfriend and often insisted on accompanying me to visit him. In 2003, he proposed to me. I love him despite the fact that he had other women in his life.

“For someone like him, who loves women, I ought to have turned him down that I cannot cope but we got along till he proposed and we got married.”

Oba Elegushi took a second wife, Olori Hadizat Elegushi in 2019.

Reflecting on how she copes with the monarch’s love for women, she said:

“I’m gifted with a patient and resilient spirit from a young age, and my husband is aware that I do not confront him regarding his relationships with other women. This is because I trust in his love for me and his commitment to always prioritize our relationship.

This behavior is common among all men, not just my husband, and it is up to the wife to manage the situation effectively. There is no man who is not prone to promiscuity, except for those who have not yet been born.”
