The Awujale of Ijebuland made history for being Nigeria’s Oldest Monarch to enroll for a law degree while still on the throne.
On Saturday the 25th of February year 2012, Oba Sikiru Adetona joined 201 other new law students of the National Open University of Nigeria for their matric. at Awa Ijebu Study Centre.
He obtained an Accountancy degree in the UK back in the days before later becoming the Awujale of Ijebuland in the 1960 .
