According to PM news, the former son-in-law to Nigeria’s Ex-president Olusegun Obasanjo, Akeem ‘Jimi Bello who married former Senator Iyabo Obasanjo-Bello has remarried, but this time, according to him “to the only woman I ever loved” former Miss Olajumoke Katherine Thompson.

The glamorous wedding ceremony took place on Dec 1st at a Registry in Lagos suburb amidst “very tight security” in the presence of family, friends and Fri-enemies. Jimi’s marriage to OBJ’s daughter crashed after 4 years on the basis of irreconcilable differences (same reason Kim Kardashian gave for her divorce) in 2003 and since then has stayed unmarried.

While expressing his joy at his new lease of marital life, Jimi said; “Simply put, today is one of the best days of my life. I feel excited and give glory to Almighty God that I’m alive today to be able to take this lovely, humble and compassionate woman to be my better half, Jumoke happens to be my first and only love. And for 25 years, she has been very patient and considerate of my own shortcomings in life. I feel great to have her,” (Love wan tintin).
