Omotola Jalade ventured into rental hall business in February 2016 but the business has crumbled because of competition.
We learnt Omotola Jalade was forced to pack up her mobile event center located in Ikeja Lagos because of threats from competitors.
The event center tagged Double Doors has been demolished.
Omotola’s recently demolished event center was made of Marquee Tent that can sits over 300 people at a time.
A source close to Omotola said she is considering building an hotel in the future.

It’s not easy doing business in nigeria but it’s too early for her to just close down the business like that! Does she think she can recoup the money invested in less than a year?

Unnecessary wastage of money. You set up a biz in Feb. and you just closed it down when we haven‘t even gotten to mid year?
inefficiency in management. Business is all about logics and strategies. For example, if others charges N1million, in order to keep the tempo, you slashed your charges by a N100k and you“ll have an influx of customers who wishes to patronise you.
Another factor is location. Change the location of your business if need be not closed down completely.

It is not at all easy to make business in Nigeria. Is very difficult because all staff want higher salaries than what the owner makes. Then Jealousy of others. Good she closed it down Europe is the best place or other African countries.
I will not advise my worst enemies to do business there. Sorry. Unless you are the selfish type who cannt pay workers.
