June 25, 2014 – Osun State Governorship Election: Aregbesola Warns Soldiers, If You Misbehave, You’ll Know We’re Oduduwa’s Children

On Tuesday, the Governor of Osun state declared that PDP should not expect the same thing that happened in Ekiti state in his state in the upcoming (August 9) Governorship election.

Aregbesola who spoke boldly at a campaign rally organized by the state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ikirun, headquaters of Ifelodun Local Government Area, noted that “the people of Ekiti State had decided to go the way they wanted and we have nothing to do to that.”

He said the PDP’s victory in Ekiti would have no effect on the August 9 governorship election in Osun. Aregbesola, who promised to employ more civil servants, stressed the need for all government workers to support him.

Warning security agents against devilish acts during the election, the governor threatened that “any security agent who mishave during the election would be shown that we are in Yorubaland.”

According to him, “we are ready to co-operate with the security agents before and during the election. Any security officer who, however, mishave will know that we are children of Oduduwa.”

Aregbesola, who noted that he had some on-going projects, assured that he would complete them in his second term. The governor also blamed the Federal Government for the dwindling allocations to the states, especially those controlled by APC.

Hope the Oga on top will not send OPC members to monitor the election.

    Although i am not in any way associated with Aregbesola but i love his statement,”any security agent who misbehaves during the election would be shown that we are in Yorubaland.” It is high time Deadlock Jonathan and his hooligans in uniforms know that police and military have no place in harassing citizens at the polls. I was shocked that ‘Fayemi fucked up by not protecting his hard earned political carrier with his tradition while he was been bullied by Deadlock J. hoodlums in uniform. Time may have passed but the doctrine of law established by our forefathers live on. When the so called ‘oga’ at the top uses British corrupt doctrine of woe, we the Yorubas must resolve to ‘agbekoya’ ways to protect all that belong to us. Ajurawa lo, tijakadi ko. If you like this ‘gege’ if you don’t like it, go hang.

    I pity DR. Fayemi, he is a good man in a wrong party, people detest APC because of their language and culture of violence, the one “leg” said baboons will soak in blood, the other said people will roast,the third one keeps telling lies, they don’t see anything good in others; when you constantly sow evil in speech and actions, you will definitely reap evil; Ekiti is the beginning. My only concern is that PDP is not the alternative, but since there is no other credible alternative, “half bread is better than none”. You shouldn’t be so consumed with selfish ambitions that you don’t acknowledge the good in others and their efforts, If APC don’t change they will become history after 2915;
    I am not affiliated to any party but before the Ekiti elections, I used my security background to do a “vox-populi” and what I’m saying here is the mood of the people, let him that has ear hear !

    You fool supporting PDP ,When nothing is working since 1999,They remove subsidy on Petrol ,Promised to build refinaries ,yet we import petrol , Promised to give light no light ,tell me any major thing PDP has done in Nigeria, Naira is 88 to 1 dollar in 1999,now is 165 to a dollar,283 to 1 pound.Ekiti people’s can montage their future for a bag of rice ,they are back to the darkness,after all their elected governor still have case to ans with EFCC.

    Ekiti people had spoken they had made their choice, anyone that think he can choose a governor for Ekiti is day dreaming.Tell Aregbesola to sell himself rather than threat, no security molest ekiti people only that they did not allow the imported APC to come to Ekiti to rig the election. A PC governors in Ekiti and Osun are courtesy of Judiciary, abinitio. Now time for the people to elect.
