March 31, 2016 – Picture: Desperate To Win CCT Trial, Saraki Hires Israeli Lawyers & US Forensic Experts, Flies Them To Nigeria

Wuruwuru Senate President, Bukola Saraki in his final desperate move to win his false assets declaration trial has hired four forensic experts to provide new evidence to present in his upcoming trial.

He hired the experts to train his lawyers so as to assist them to win his legal battle against the Federal Government of Nigeria.

An insider said the experts arrived Lagos on Monday and left for Abuja yesterday to commence operation.

Hear what a close source to Saraki said:

“The investigators will ferret out and scrutinise thoroughly all available information on the eight prosecution witnesses, including their school records, service records from their past and present places of employment and personal information that may help the defence team in the course of the trial. “Most of the so-called witnesses will not be credible when information concerning their life is presented publicly before the Tribunal. ”

So the oga think he can use forensic experts to prove the Nigerian Federal Government wrong. Naija no get forensic experts abi?

Insult to injury…. We dey watch with eyes wide open.

When a man is sinking, he grabs even at a straw if only he could float. What will these new men in the fleet of your defence do for you? I am glad that they are just coming to drain more of your money without an impact in your favour.

There is a more “honourable” thing to do in this case: vacate the senate president’s seat. But he has chosen to glue his butts down there because of greed and quest for relevance. Well, let’s see how it all pans out.

Why hiring an Israeli lawyer and U.S Forensic experts if your hands are clean Mr. Senate President? Why paying those foreigners so much dollars to invade our justice system. Senator Bukola Saraki is trying to prove to the CCT and Nigerian people that black is white, and that looting is pathrotic and honorable. Wao! The Senate President has so much assets in his name that he is so ashamed to announce to Nigerian public because of embarrassment, that is the main reason for his false assets declaration. Only him knows how his new strategies or tactics will play out in the court of law comes April. But the fact of the matter is that corruption will definitely destroy us and many generations to come if we don’t defeat it now that we have a great, pathrotic, discipline, and determined president. We have APC administration currently fighting false assets declaration of no 3rd citizen of Federal Republic of Nigeria from the same party, that to me is giant step forward towards good governance. I believe by God grace that PMB will tackle and defeat corruption from Nigeria decaying society with our collective support, prayers, aND by playing our part with high moral standards at all levels of government, and in our various homes and businesses. Senator Saraki, we are all wishing your dirty treks sir.

Can you imagine that? The government needs to investigate how much he pays for their service, if his records cannot support that, then he had committed one more crime.

Saraki is very funny. You can go as far as hiring the best criiminal defense attorney from the US or UK they may not be able to help you out. Plus these people have no clue about Nigerian law. This is one of the reasons why you are in this dilemma. You think money can do everything? there are certain things that money can never buy or change. Keep trying, the end will justify the means.

Metu, Jilo, Danti and Omokehinde, you guys have just expository expanciated the whole points there is in this matter so much as 100% accurate that there is almost nothing left to talk about.

Just like Metu pointed out, the best and simple thing for mr Senate President to do is to vacate that seat.
I suspect he is using that position to frustrate many corruption trials in favour of his colleagues and close associates.

    My strolling continues…

He has no options but to do that when you have an already compromised judge who admitted he has made mistakes in his pervious judgments and a judge who have case of bribery on him. Only in Nigeria will such judge preside over a complex case

Good talk abolaji. I don’t expect this from the readers, we only look one direction forgetting the other side of the story. it is quietly belief that the çct trial under danladi has been hijack by some politician. it is clear and obvious at the last hearing that justice danladi is dancing to the tone of some politician. that was the reason for the hiring of this expatriate to scrutinise the trial and perfect his defence counsel, not what you guys are thinking. bcos to average Nigeria it is belief that saraki trial at the cct is not a fight against corruption but a political witch hunting which see saraki as a treat in 2019 and beyond.

Have you read the charge sheet of his alledged offences? Which of those charges requires forensic experts? Is it to prove that you did not own, or that you own a property that requires even a lawyer? All these offences are about what you own and failed to declare that you own them. How is it difficult to prove they are not yours? This case is straightforward, but Saraki with his body language is accepting guilt.
