Ngowe, is life worth all these desperations.? Who’s shadows are you chasing and who do you intend impressing after making the illicit money and, why the do-or -die approach to making money if even it costs life. Well, its all a lesson to other Nigerians dreaming of doing same. Have my sympathy nevertheless.

Being his first offense in that country they should have exercised leniency on him by jailing him for a couple of years and then released with a strong warning. not execution.

Malaysia is like Singapore in handling drug-peddling crimes: death penalty, & it could b by hanging.

      November 26, 2014 at 4:11 PM

Precious, it is not because he is a Nigerian that the sentence was passed on him. It is the law of all the South East Asian countries even China. They execute anyone caught with any narcotics even their own people. It is not Nigeria where a corrupt judge will set you free after you must have “settled” him or you are well connected.

This is very sad! When I notice some over ambitious young folks risking their life because quick money, then I begin to feel sorry for them because in the first instance they don’t even know how to work their way around in order to become a millionaire yet they want to become rich overnight. What our over ambitious young folks do not realize is, not every Country will be like our lawless Country Nigeria. If this guy never been to any part of south east Asia Countries, he must have been informed about how strict they are about drug peddling. What was this guy thinking in the first place, oh! you want to tell their authority that it was a mistake or somebody put it in your bag? and give flimsy excuses just as you do in Nigeria. Oh boy you should have never tried this. In Indonesia they let you ingest the amount of drug you were caught with before they meted out their judgement on you that is even if you can survive it.

God is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. Abuchi, give your life to Jesus now so that if your body is destroyed here on earth, you can be rest asured of ETERNITY in Heaven. Confess your sin to God, ask for pardon, forgive those who have condemned you. It is well with your soul!

Did it ever occur to anyone that this young man must have been bain washed and conned into swallowing the narcotics for peanuts, just he could be sponsored out of the country to pursue a better future abroad and be more comfortable in life. I am not supporting his decision to do what he did but he might be escaping the harsh environment that has no place for young graduates and school leavers. I pray the new president-elect would stir this country to the place where our parents and predecessors dreamed-of and hope for us. May the good Lord help us all.. Amen!

When I read stories like this it really pains me..I am not condoning drugs any way at all,But I don’t believe the man should be put to death…here in USA even murderers get less than that..I wish they would just send them back to Nigeria to serve prison time..but putting them to death is too harsh..
