Nollywood actor cum politician, Hon. Desmond Elliott has shown fans his religious side.
The actor representing Surulere as the Lagos State House of Assembly just launched a campaigned tagged “Surulere Religious Bodies Pray For Lagos @50”.
He shared photos of himself praying at Surulere Central Mosque and a church in Surulere as Lagos marks its 50th anniversary.
The young politician is working his way to reelection in the upcoming general election.

Observation Naijagist, are you saying Lagosians are celebrating Lagos at 50? Or you meant to say 40? Well, maybe I’m missing some information here and I need your help and other forumites for better clarification. Lagos State was founded in 1976 during the regime of late General Muritala Muhammed along side with other states such as Ogun, Oyo, old Ondo, Kwara, Bendel up to the max of 19 States. Prior to that time Lagos State was known as Federal. If the Lagos State Government wants to celebrate Lagos as a State, that should be 40 not Golden age as it was reported in this media.
