In July 2016, veteran Nollywood actor Kenneth Okonkwo dumped the PDP party over what he called lack of discipline. Since then he didn’t make his intention of joining the APC party known until he was officially welcomed into the party in Enugu this past weekend.
Okonkwo was welcomed into the leading party by ex-Enugu House of Assembly speaker Eugene Odo and Senator Fidelis Okoro.

My dearest brother Ken I’m very saddened to read on Niaja gist today that you have joined this blood sucking vultures called politicians and A P C bro Ken I’m a very comfortable Igbo man from Los Angeles calabasas you are one of the men that I I’m actually fond of my wife and children are also fond of you when ever the watch a movie if your not acting or part of the movie the will not watch it.brother if it’s money you are looking for I’m wealthy stupendously come to Los Angeles and we meet and the rest is history I don’t want to to talk to much or give away too much but please politics is not for you practice you law or relocate to the USA we will do the rest we are stupendously connected over here you will never lack anything you will be amazed to know there’s a lot of Igbos over here that are very silent billionaires especially in calabasas.
