The Pope yesterday quipped people that Catholic faithfuls should not send him early birthday wishes because in his native country of Argentina, early birthday wishes bring bad luck to people.
Pope Francis turns 80 on Saturday for the occasion; the Vatican has opened seven email accounts that can receive birthday messages in Latin, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, English, French, German and Polish.
“But let me tell you something that will make you laugh: In my country early birthday wishes bring bad luck,’’ the pontiff said during his weekly audience.
Meeting the faithful in the Vatican’s Paul VI’s hall, Francis was presented with a cake from a woman.
It had two lit candles, one in the shape of an “8” and another in the shape of a “0” the pope blew them out.

I am a looker of this pope with a corner corner eye bicos wetin was make the other pope wey was work bifor this man to say he no work again? America was want the other pope to sign iluminati. But he was not gree. They was force am to not work again or he die. He come say he no work again. But happy birthday is no wahala. Is not small thing to be reaching eighty years ago for life. But they are not sopos give you cake again for your birthday. All the cake wey you have chop since you was dey small, was it not do?
