Popular Prophet Blasts MFM GO Olukoya For Condemning Christmas Celebration
December 13, 2017 – Popular Prophet Blasts MFM GO Olukoya For Condemning Christmas Celebration
A popular Prophet and the founder of Mount of Miracles and Blessing, Prophet Faleyimu has joined other Christians firing at MFM Founder, Dr Daniel Olukoya for condemning the celebration of Christmas.
Faleyimu described the famous clergy as a ‘confutionist’ whose comment is capable of misleading other Christians.
His words;
“How can any Christian say that celebration of Christmas is a taboo? In what way is it demonic as Olukoya claimed? That means he is not a true follower of Christ . There’s nothing wrong in celebrating Christmas. That’s how it has been since the advent of our colonial masters who brought Christianity.
People like Olukoya are international businessmen claiming to be men of God. Anyway, God Himself has said that He knows those that call Him genuinely. The same thing was what Dr Kumuyi said few years ago. No matter what they say, people will continue to celebrate Christmas because it’s Jesus Christ’s birthday.
“I can’t really be surprised. The same people are those condemning Muslim festival of sacrifice, Eid-el-Kabir, calling it idolatory festival. I think they’re confused, and they’re only looking for who to mislead.
They can’t mislead people like us. I believe Odukoya might have spoken from the flesh, not the spirit because if he was of the spirit when he made the statement, he wouldn’t have said that at all.”

Imagine a pastor defending such a controversial issue without a single verse in the bible to back it up.How could you say Christmas is scriptural when Jesus himself did not celebrated it?How could you say Christmas is biblical when even Apostles did not celebrated it?Is British that brought Christianity to African immuned of mistake? Are they perfect?

The said prophet has just demonstrated his ignorance. He needs to study the origin of Christmas. He said Jesus is celebrating his birthday; the same Jesus that has been before the creation of the world. While I personally celebrate only the positive aspect of Christmas, Pastor Olukoya is one of the few that speak the truth about Christmas. I have seen many young girls become pregnant in the hand of their boyfriend in the name of celebrating Christmas. The most significant thing about the birth of our Lord Jesus is that he is born in your heart by giving your life to him. Any other thing is tradition!

Am yet to know why these pastors are bent on criticizing themselves knowing fully well that the accused was saying the truth. If you fail to support your claim biblically, I see no reason why you should be rebuking someone saying the truth. In actual fact, Christmas was not anywhere mentioned celebrated in the bible let alone Jesus did not instruct anyone to do so. MFM pastor and pastor Kumuyi was right. That was the problem in Christianity, most of their doctrines are *******oriented. Few of those pastors that knew and tend to correct others are about to be crucified. Such was the recent controversy surrounding tithes that daddy freeze was trying correct those compelling their congregants to pay that it was wrong. He made many biblical references to buttress his point but his critics lack no biblical evidence to counter him. In fact, if possible, some pastors have been demanding daddy Freeze’s head. It is when Christians are able to differentiate between Christian cultures and that of the western one and select which one they prefer. In such case, pure and undiluted Christianity could be determined.

A long held religious tradition that is purely unbiblical and linked with paganism is what some ignorant clerics will come to defend in the public, what a shame! First of all, december 25th when Christmas is been celebrated was not the year christ was born. Secondly, there is no known portion of the bible that command Christians to celebrate christ birth. That been said, the question now is, why should any lovers of truth join in a celebration that has no backing from the scripture and is deeply rooted in paganism? The only biblical command we have about christ celebration is his DEATH and not his BIRTH. In the book of (luke 22:19) it says about jesus that “and he took bread and when he has giving thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, this is my body which is giving on your behalf, DO THIS IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME”. No doubt, this is a direct command emanating from the savior of the world. His statement shows clearly that christian are authorised and commanded to celebrate his death. If his birth though very important and highly significant was to be celebrated, do we think jesus christ would not have commanded the early christian to celebrate it also? But he didn’t command the apostles and his disciples neither did he command the early christian to celebrate his birth through out his earthy life. No wonder the book of (ecclesiastics 7:1b) says “ the day of DEATH is better than the day of one’s BIRTH”. Because at death is exactly when every man will be judge by God whether we live our life to practise righteousness while we are still here on earth or not. But on his part, Jesus succeeded in laying his life on our behalf. In fact he said in the book of (john 19:30) when he was about to die in an excruciating pain where he was nailed along with the two criminals that, [“it has been accomplished”], before he gave up his life. He made this powerful statement because through his death we sinners can now have life eternity in Gods kingdom only if we can exercise faith in him. This is why he commanded that we christian celebrate his death because it means life for all mankind. And of course, his death is worth celebrating, because it opens the door for we sinners to be reconcile to God and become the children of God ones more with life everlasting in view. That is why every true christian MUST heed christ ONLY COMMAND to celebrate his death and not his birth.

There are some inspiration we get from the Holy Spirit that shouldn’t be turned into doctrines in the church.
you could get a message on a particular subject doesn’t mean you turn it into a doctrine for other to follow under must.
I for one as a Christian, I don’t particular take interest in the celebration of any event except EASTER. Not that there is anything special in it it’s just that that was the only event Jesus said “Do this in memory of me”. and we take the communion everyday even. so making a day set aside for it to me it’s not really the thing.
I don’t particular celebrate these events not because it’s against God but I just feel why putting importance to a day that it’s so much filled with perversion and atrocities?
the highest rate of road crashed, death, robbery this yelutide season is always on the increase.
so who are we celebrating?
cost of food and other essential commodities are skyrocketed and you tell me it’s”Christmas”?
will I stop my wife and kids from taking part? no no no no.
will I stop my mum and dad and siblings?
no no no no no.
I just feel that it it’s “my revelation or decision” as the car may be I can’t force it up on ppl or make it a law.
so not celebrating Xmas, paying off tithe and not having TV are all subjective and shouldn’t be turned into a doctrine.
tell ppl your revelation, the pros and cons trust me if it’s the Spirit of God you’ll have other ppl with the same mind set.
so Olukoya may not be wrong, also the prophet.
again the only celebration Jesus features was at a Wedding.
He never went for a funeral that he didn’t wake the person up.
so what’s these madness about Jesus birthday?
do you know the birthday is Jesus or God?
they will say as a human form, bible says since the foundation of the earth that was Godplan to send Jesus. so when was his birthday?
Colossians 2:16
Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

The Christ birth you claim that you’re celebrating, do you really surrender your life to him or you are celebrating in sin?

can you tell me that those members in your business church were gotten from heaven, where did you get them from? if not from heaven then there root were evil. don’t keep them. the church did a great evangelism by placing the birth of Christ in place of pagan celebration and you all are offended.

it’s not biblical though and not idolatory too, if u are for Christ truly, u can celebrate him physically, morally and so on, remember Jesus told His disciples when they reported some who are doing miracles in His name, He then told them to let them be , bcos he who that is not for Him surely must be against him, if christmas is celebrated in Holiness, soberness, humility and all sorts of fruits of spirit, it is highly appreciated, my take on that
