Breaking News: RCCG Youth Pastor Folarin Agbaje Dies of Cardiac Arrest in Toronto Ontario Canada
It is with deep sorrow that we report the passing of Folarin Agbaje, a beloved Youth Pastor at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Christ’s Tribe Branch in Toronto. Folarin tragically passed away on May 16, 2024, due to a cardiac arrest.
Folarin was not only a spiritual guide but also a dedicated Customer Information Specialist at Oakville Public Library in Oakville, Ontario. His ability to connect with people, combined with his warm smile and willingness to help, made him a cherished member of both his professional and church communities.
In a heartfelt message, the congregation of RCCG Christ’s Tribe Branch expressed their profound sadness and honored the life of Folarin Agbaje. Known for his radiant personality and unwavering faith, Folarin had recently shown a strong desire to serve in the church’s Youth Ministry. His life exemplified the teachings of Matthew 5:16, which says, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Folarin’s light shone brightly, touching the lives of many and drawing them closer to the love of Christ. His faith, love, and spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those he impacted. The church community takes solace in the belief that Folarin is now in the loving arms of their Heavenly Father, free from the pains and struggles of this world, and experiencing the eternal joy of God’s presence.
The words of 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 provide comfort during this time of grief: “But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.” This scripture offers hope in the promise of resurrection and eternal life through Jesus Christ.
To the Agbaje family, we extend our deepest condolences and prayers. The community stands ready to support you, to mourn with you, and to celebrate Folarin’s life. May God’s peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
As we say farewell to our dear brother Folarin, let us commit to living out the values he held dear. Let us love more deeply, serve more faithfully, and shine our lights more brightly, just as Folarin did. His life was a blessing, and his memory will forever be treasured in our hearts.
Rest in peace, Folarin Agbaje. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
