See LASU Students Cooking At Fashola’s Office To Protest School Fees Hike

Students of Lagos State University yesterday stormed the office of Governor Fashola in Alausa, Ikeja with cooking pots, mats, mosquito nets and camping equipments.

The students vow not to return home until their school fees were reduced and their detained colleagues released.

The LASU students stormed the office around 3pm on Thursday in 12 buses fully ready to camp and dine until Fashola answer them.

To show their seriousness, the female students quickly swung into action, setting up firewoods to prepare beans near the entrance of the Governor’s Office.

The students also defied a downpour that threatened their demonstration, as they danced to solidarity songs and held mid-day prayers to seek divine intervention.

Fashola should not bother eating at home tomorrow morning because by the time he gets to his office in Alausa, powded yam will be waiting by his door.

Hahahahaha these students are so funny.

Am not surprise, our leaders that benefited from free education from primary to university level are the ones making education costly for the new generation, can those govt workers that are receiving N18,000.00(minimum wage)afford to pay the new school fees for their children?

The writer called the student’s demonstration against unwarranted increase in school fees funny. Governor Fashola and the rest of our greedy, selfish, and criminal politicians have more than enough of our looted money to pay for the school fees of their own children abroad. Most students in Nigerian public higher institutions are from very poor background, and I think is unfair for Fashola or elected officials to compound their financial problems. They should channel more money into education and stop looting the people’s money for their selfishness. Some politicians today from Southwest region of Nigeria benefited from Chief Obafemi Awolowo ‘ s free education programs. But they have all messed up our educational system; send their own children to universities in the U.S, Canada and Britain. Let Governor Fashola of Lagos State to let these poor students succeed and stop adding said to their wounds. Gov. Fashola please let our youths go.

The writer called the student’s demonstration against unwarranted increase in school fees funny. Governor Fashola and the rest of our greedy, selfish, and criminal politicians have more than enough of our looted money to pay for the school fees of their own children abroad. Most students in Nigerian public higher institutions today are from very poor background whose parents cannot avoid to see to Ghana or private schools in Naija. I think is unfair for Fashola or any elected governors to compound these poor students financial problems. Lagos state government should channels more money into youths education and stop looting the people’s money for ttheir pleasure. Some politicians today from Southwest region of Nigeria benefited greatly from Chief Obafemi Awolowo ‘ s free education programs. But they have all messed up our educational system; send their own children to universities in the U.S, Canada and Britain. Can someone tell Governor Fashola of Lagos State to let these poor students succeed and stop adding salt to their wounds. Gov. Fashola please let our youths go back to school and drop this senseless idea of fee increase. Our elected officials should encourage more people from poor background to acquire sound education for better tomorrow and should stop discouraging poor masses from getting education, this form of discouragement will have negative effects on our society and generation to come. Always remember that education is power.

Where is APC spokes man,Lai Mohammed to comment on what Fashola is doing to poor students. Because if it were a PDP Governor, he would have called for his resignation, and all manners of rubbish that he knows how to vomit out of his smelling mouth. Nigerian should understand one thing, these people have nothing to offer us than to steal our money for their own selfish interests.God will judge all of them. Why is it not better under APC in Lagos alone and they want to rule nigeria by force.Useless Fashola, mumu Lai Muhammed, stupid APC. Those your children you use our money to send abroad will not make it in life.Ole,oloriburuku gbogbo!
