June 13, 2017 – Sokoto State Spends N91Million On 90 Islamic Clerics, Imams Travelling To Mecca To Pray For Buhari’s Healing

The Governor of Sokoto state through the Religious Affairs Commissioner, Katami Mani today announced that the Government of Sokoto has sponsored a 90-man contingent of Islamic clerics to travel to Mecca in Saudi Arabia to pray for President Buhari’s healing.

While addressing the clerics heading to Mecca, the commissioner said each of them will get N250,000 as Basic Travelling Allowance.

He also told reporters that the main mission of the 90 Imams is to pray for quick healing for Buhari in order to enable him to come back to Nigeria alive to continue the good work he started for the country.

The leader of the group, Shagari Maidamma praises Sokoto state government for the N91million given to his group to carry out the mission assigned to them.

He promises that the clerics will not engage themselves in any act capable of tarnishing the image of the country in Mecca.

I mean no disrespect to their Religion, but my question is, does it mean Allah will not answer them in Nigeria? How can Nigeria be wasting money and still claiming our coffer is empty,the same Sokoto that has so many misplaced individuals.
I hope they are not going there for training, because Saudi Arabia and it’s neighbors still remain the highest sponsor of Terrorism and Radical ISLAM.

  Mon u spoke my mind. This is absolutely unbelievable. If Allah is only present and can only answer them in Mecca, let them go through Britain and take Buhari along. Why is he not being treated in Mecca if the country is believed to be that holy? While Nigerian refugees starve in Cameroon millions are spent for people to go abroad and “pray” for Buhari. I just hope it’s pure prayers and no hidden agenda. Very soon they will come back flourishing in wealth. There are citizens living in this very state in absolute poverty but this is happening. What a rubbish!

N90M + N91M= N181 MILLION WASTATGE OF MONEY on an irrelevant and unprofitable engagements. Yet, the senate will not say anything about it because it‘s all about the interest of islam.

what an economic waste. imagine the level of stupidity displayed? isnt that state allocation money they used for this lousy act? sha these muslims meed to receive sense now. I give it to them life and direct. The lifespan of a stressed drained fragile dying president with dementia isnt guaranteed. Heheh sad reality wake up Islam mtscheew
