April 25, 2016 – Sterling Bank Staff, Teller Junaid Afeez Arrested For Stealing N6 Million From Victoria Island Lagos Branch

A 26-year-old teller at Adeola Odeku branch of the Sterling Bank has been arrested for allegedly stealing N6million from his employer.

The suspect identified as Junaid Afeez reportedly withdrew N6million for personal use one year after his employment.

He fled few months after stealing the money only to be caught after the bank audited their account.

The accused was arrested at his hideout in Iseyin and brought to Lagos.

His case is currently in court.

    • I am not supporting his actions but the problem with us Nigerians is when an average man steals, he should either be dealt with nor be imprisoned for life when the fat belled politicians are stealing daily and still walking freely. One day, the hunter will be come the hunted, Holier than though. Everybody has a price.
